2D art is nice, and 3D adds flare to the style, but units facing only 4 directions instead of who they're currently occupied with feels very unnatural, a bit distracting. (*Addendum: on closer inspection, both male and females are rather unsightly or unstylish. Not a plus for the game for sure.)
That's all I can say, not my place to judge gameplay/balance because I tend to go for cheatengine really quickly for deck building games. (Not my type of games)
Thank You so very much for the Windows 7 compatibility information, Poityu~! 😎👍
If you want to help out our community by testing the Windows 7 compatibility of more games listed on this site then please do so as there are still some members here who also still have a Windows 7 machine (eg. - For sentimental reasons or for long time "hold-outs" who are not exactly fine with using Windows 11 24H2 as released)! Perhaps with time, IGG-Games.com [Admin] may award you a "Trusted" member badge in recognition of your service~! There are also benefits to being a "Trusted" member - Think about it. 😉
Oh, I'm flattered. It's not like I'm booting into another OS just to test, I'm already on Win7. I've been doing this for a while, chiming in if the I'm somewhat interested in the game and the spec doesn't include Win7.
Sure, a Trusted badge would be cool. If not, it's also not a big deal~😊
Since as I said I don't test every game, I'll mention sth I learned this time, it's useful self help info:
There's a "Technologies" row in SteamDB that says what engine was used to make the game. This gives a good prediction whether Win7 can run it.
Unity, RPGMaker or Renpy - Likely will run. Unreal - Unlikely GameMaker - 50/50
Doing this instead of making blind leaps saves time, bandwidth and HDD lifespan.
Cool! There are many YouTubers who post videos about OC'ed [CPUs, GPUs and/or memory] inside older machines successfully running modern games whose minimum system requirements are above the older machines' specifications. In your own way, you're kind of performing the same "Can you run it?" service for machines with under-spec'ed OSs~! Please carry on! 😎👍
