@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:

Only MegaUp and Rapidgator are available for the 1.2.10 update, MegaUp is really not an option when the ads get in the way of downloading it (it forces you to disable your adblocker) and Rapidgator has a really slow download. Windows Defender just deleted the rar file from Rapidgator and free users can only download 1 file every 120 minutes.
All other download options have expired.
For the full game that is in parts (probably the only way to get the game with the latest update), Mega.nz are dead for part 2-5, would be nice if those could be uploaded again, I have a subscription with them for now. It also seems only MegaUp is available while all other sources are dead, frankly I would just stop using MegaUp because the ads make it impossible to download the parts from.
Megaup does not force you to disable adblock, it is by far the best host site in my opinion. Links never die, fast download speed, no download limits. It does contain a few ads but frankly considering all these advantages i think its not so bad.
That isn't the experience I had with MegaUp, it wouldn't let me download anything without turning off my adblocker then very intrusive ads prevented me from even doing anything else to the point I had to close out of MegaUp website. I have no reason to believe you.

Overrated yes but it was FUN, The Legend of Heroes and Ys games are getting REALLY stale, the stories and gameplay are the same shit as always, even the animations haven't improved (the characters look and move like robots).
Look at Ys 10, a fucking prequel because Falcom doesn't have the balls or imagination to make Adol a grown man.

I just noticed, this game is outdated, the latest release is 1.2.15, the whole page should just be remade with the latest release.

Also the save file will be saved in the following path:
%SystemDrive%\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\RUNE\2668430
You paste that path in explorer, see if it exists, if not then you should create it manually.
