soo i have found a fix that works for me idk if it will for you, that my problem is if you run the game it just force close, What has worked for me was downloading the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable version as I was having an issue with MSVCP140.dll, download both the 64x version and x86 version
Same here, it say the app only run on Directx 11_1 or later while I have DirectX12 lol. The game even have the same system requirement as dd1 and I can run dd1 just fine.
Hey Guys, as we know we've all been facing a certain direct X issues for DD2, I've the fix which worked for me. The info was gotten from the steam website from a user by the name Isla Kawaii, Quote - "Solved: Try disable your Display adapters in Device Manager setting (such as NVIDIA or AMD). Then choose to use only your Intel HD Graphics. After disabled try open the game, this works fine for me." Hope it works for you guys as well👍👍😁

First of all for the future, create a more legible screenshot without using the camera in your smartphone or a separate digital camera by pressing the "Printscreen" [PrtScrn|SysRq] key on your keyboard, open MS Paint (Comes installed with Windows) if you don't have any third party graphics editor installed on your machine, paste the recently captured screenshot into MS Paint by pressing the Ctrl and V keys [Ctrl+V] simultaneously or by clicking the "Paste" button in MS Paint's GUI and then save the screenshot before posting it in a comment.
As for the problem you encountered, ensure that your graphics card meets the minimum requirements to play this game. According to this game's Steam page (See here), this game requires a graphics card that at least supports DirectX 11 (11.1 to be exact, according to the error messagebox in your "screenshot"). If your graphics card does support DirectX 11.1 then try reinstalling the latest graphics driver for your brand of graphics card (Visit the official nVidia site here or the official AMD site here), reboot your machine and then try running this game again to see whether the problem persists.
Try installing DirectX 11 even though you already have DirectX 12 installed. Hi. I'm happy to help out as much as I can. For VP you need to win matches, basically complete as many missions as you can. Some matches will have challenges that will award more VP when completed. For the CP, buy packs of cards in which several are easily repeated. The "extra" ones will automatically become CP.

You need to download the online fix and put it in the game directory. Your friend also needs to do this as you can only play against online fix user too
it seems you are using old video card or driver right? i just tested it on another computer, it also works perfectly. But when i tried this on my old laptop, it didnt work. Are you using directx 12?
I have an old graphics card but higher than min requirements. Drivers are updated, I have Directx12. What is my problem then? Deardays 1 works just fine still.
