@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:
Method 1: before installing the game, check the following box:
Method 2: or after installing the game, open the iso file, copy everything in the "RUNE" folder, then paste them to where you installed the game, enjoy ;) (see tutorial image here if you still dont know: https://igg-games.com/how-885614657-to-install-game-and-update.html)
no worries lol i want this updated too. but, i stated its 'being watched' due to my conversation with roosevelt (a mod) earlier about a ...minor issue in this games crack. he mentioned about the update. so he's watching for it already lol.
srrDB has yet (at this time) posted any release from RUNE, let alone anyone else with the updated files/crack for this recent version however. So, it may take a few hours until its here.
cant blame you, quite alot to manage and time isnt unlimited. besides, so long as its "steam" it shouldnt make any difference which "update" is used. downloading now, let see if all those steam complaints have much marett on the cracked version. game ran "ok" prior minus after an hour id have issues. lucky for me i have the space to backup/copy the current version i have to another drive/location. just in case this proves to not run at all now. as "removing admin rights" on a cracked game isnt ideal, so im skeptical at best.
that site is great, it's mainly for tracking SCENE releases, and you can also use it to check if the iso you downloaded is valid based on the information on that site. I'm also the one who submits some releases there sometimes, haha
I was planning to wait until dev update v1.0.4 to upload. But the way things are going, i guess they will prioritize developing new features instead of fixing existing bugs. So there is no telling when v1.0.4 will be available (maybe it will come with new features instead of just a minor fix). It would be ironic if they update v1.0.4 tomorrow 😅...
this game is another cyberpunk 2077 patches over patches over patches i rather wait until they finally really fix their shit instead of playing at the current state and spoil my experience
meanwhile cyberpunk 2077 "seems" to finally fix their shit after 4 years
Nah, Cyberpunk worked for me just fine on release, even with my 980ti which was already old. FPS was fine, bugs were non issue, played the entire game the only real issue was exploits you could do in crafting and cheat if you wanted. But this? This is a mess, runs like shit on every gpu on the market, fps drops from 70 to 5 left and right on reloading a save (reaching 70 fps only via mods), you can't even begin to enjoy it. As someone who regularly deals with low fps I find stalker 2 just... unenjoyable (and I went and bought it too). Just to have to put it on shelf and wait maybe year or more before game will become playable. Mods seemed to help at first but it is not enough.
You do realize that you're expecting Ukrainians to do a good job in 2025, right? Not going to happen. They could barely do a good job in the 90's and early 2k's. With the state of the world, they're just going to scam the pants off of everyone. These updates have all been BS. I mean they used the old code for crying out loud..
That's why the stealth issue with enemies detecting you through walls and foliage/shooting you from 300 yards away is still a problem.. Modders have been trying to fix it for over a decade, but can't. They've made comments like "you'd have to recode like two thirds of the entire game to fix this.."
Having worked with scripting myself, I understand what they mean, and why that would be the case... You really think a bunch of Ukrainians are actually going to put effort in to something? No. They're going to take every shortcut they can. That's why their country is so effed up. You thought Russians, Americans, and Chinese were bad? Roll them all into one and you have a Ukrainian.😂
5800x, 4070ti, 32gb ram (nvme no doubt) runs pretty well for me. 1.0.2 resolved the horrible reload from a save time and fps drops for me. (not tried 1.0.3 enough yet. but, i maintain a consistent 50/60fps with mostly max/high settings. cp2077 ran great on release for me on a 2070s ftw3. had no bugs others had. (could run high settings) but played well enough to beat the game before any updates released. all in all stalker 2 runs fine for me. from ultra to high on textures (face mostly) resolved the issues i had with "fps drops/hangs".
EDIT- 1.0.3 is worse than 1.0.2 was. i can not play the game lmao (happened on 1.0.2 too, but i fixed that by not running as admin) now that isnt the case. guess i shuda copied my 1.0.2 version to another location before updating fully. *tried out 1.0.3 elsewhere, crashed and had less FPS than before so i was fine with waiting. i somehow thought it was the optimized tweaks mod i had installed, but that isnt the issue. game still runs good when its running for me but "when its running" is the problem.
just move on with something else until they fix it, you are spoiling your experience playing a broken shit honestly cp2077 they said it finally fixed for good go there or play something else not only fucking AAA games "Noita" for example that game with mods will make your nasa pc run like shit and probably crash but totally worth it or play the red dead 1 i already finished all 100% including undead nightmare
(i have been playing something else) indiana jones, 80% finished that, but stopped and uninstalled it, have metro exodus, and ac origins to play (beat and finished RD1 already too) and replayed rdr2 4x now. still find shit to do in that one tho. point is, i havent been playing this. (im close to the end) but its unplayable atm.
pc is far from nasa spec i used afterpay to "make payments" on the GPU which is what i suggest anyone else doing looking to upgrade since (NO INTREST)
never really played it back then, to be honest. the only REAL remaster or "bring it back to life" i want is The Legend Of Dragoon! id pay money just for the name to be in my steam library... if you never played this, and emulate PS1 on your PC (which your 1080 should do no issues) PLAY THIS GAME.
I've seen a lot of negative and critical comments, so I'm going to do the opposite: thank you Mr. Pirate for allowing us to play games we don't necessarily have the money to buy, in short, the game works well, no crashes, the game is poorly opti, but that's the devs' fault, otherwise thank you again for the crack. In the future, it would be nice if the community got a little more recognition. kisses from france
You must be suffering from some severe constipation because the shit has stopped coming out of your ass and is now being spewed from your fingertips, flooding the chat with all this crap! There's something called exchange rates and currency conversion, and another thing called TAXES. The price you pay for a game in your country, compared to your salary, is not the same as in other countries.
Some countries are paying up to FIVE TIMES more than what you pay, just because of currency conversion to the local currency, not to mention embedded taxes that can reach up to 85% of the product's price...
Instead of spewing shit in a community where people help each other so that those who can't afford games at absurd prices can enjoy their hobbies without sacrificing a third or more of their salaries, why not help those in need and BUY original games (since it’s cheap for you) and donate keys to those who struggle to purchase them? That would be a more DIGNIFIED and less PATHETIC act than what you just did.
90%+ of the planet cant afford any entertainment whatsoever lol, if u dont own a house then u cant afford any luxuries until u do, if u still cant then ur a slave.
Did they rewrite the code so that stealth works and enemies can't see/detect you through solid objects, yet?
Just kidding. I know they never will. If they were going to fix that, they'd have written new code in the first place, instead of recycling the code from Shadow of Chernobyl, like they did with Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat.
Modders have tried fixing the code for over a decade.. Everyone knows that a third of it would have to be written from scratch to fix enemy aggro without limiting their detection range to like 10 feet.
The lesson here, is.. Never do business with a Ukrainian. Everyone knows Ukraine is like the most corrupt country in the world, well, maybe right after Middle Eastern countries like Pakistan/Iran/Syria. Lol.
DONT UPDATE IF THE GAME WORKS FINE FOR YOU. THERE IS NO POINT IN UPDATING IF THE GAME ALREADY WORKS FINE.
All these updates do is fix problems for the people that are having them. Play the game first and if your NOT experiencing any problems then just leave the game the way that it is!!! You might just cause headaches for yourself that, TRUST ME, you dont want. Also try the mod for STALKER 2 on nexus mods. I got to a point in the game where i couldn't progress and after like 10 crashes in a row i got the mod and got right past it and finished the game with no crashes since. The mod is less than 1MB and is so easy to install... get luck and hope this helps because this game is SO worth it!
thanks friend.. for me..i'm just too lazy too download all over again.. so i just play with the 0.1.3 version and never ever had a crash or any issues.. so i guess i'll stick with that version..
1.1.3 is miles better in performance and stability for me. (5800x, 4070ti) was 40/50fps but would drop HARD after a while, now it doesnt drop at all and is consistent without mods etc. Im beyond the bugged quests others had in prior versions tho. So idk if the bug fixes for quests worked or not. but i will also add that other groups fight now...worth the update in my opinion. (use a download manager and itll download it all for you after you get the links)
Any AMD Gpu user here Getting stuck at Compiling Shaders Screen? some time it freezes or just infinte loading not getting past it to main menu.Found on reddit that my prevoius save files are causing this had to delete 200+ hours of save yet no go.This is really sad that this game is breaking even futher with new updates maybe its time to let it sleep for a year then pick it back with some dlcs.
are you running in "ADMIN" mode (the game itself) ? if so, dont.
if you deleted those saves without backups, thats a no go!
im on nvidia however, have yet encountered this issue. 1.1.1 worked great. and 1.1.2 is working fine too. but, if i run this game as an "admin" it crashes nonstop.
p.s. you did redownload the entire game correct? then update to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2?
no "mentions" of AMD/nvidia gpus as being the issue as this is a widespread problem for team red, and green but you can try this doing the OP method is the most spoken "works" and "thanks" mentions in that thread.
Tried everything not running as admin running as admin, used disk clearner to deleted direct x shaders, deleted saves, logs reinstalled twice dont use any mods too yet Still stuck in compiling shaders :( found many reddit & steam threads related this issue seems like i am not the only one facing this bug. Cya at stalker 2 V2.0
the "fixes" i mentioned trying (in that link) said they had to repeat doing those steps a few times. "3 times is what it took, until it worked" but im honestly not sure if they just got through on their third time. (i have set my gpu shader cache to UNLIMITED) which may be why i dont have this issue? if AMD has this option, it may be worth checking into.
“Small fixes"? Performance optimization and most important fix of bugged missions that you can't complete or are completed poorly, how should these be small?
If we continue on this path, in about a week, the total size of the patches will be more than 100GB... I believe no one wants to download it this way. Maybe you don't understand how creating "update only" works... I'll give you an example (I'll take 10GB to be even):
Base game.
Update from base game => v1.0.1 (10GB)
Update from v1.0.1 => v1.0.2 (10GB)
Update from v1.0.2 => v1.0.3 (10GB)
Update from v1.0.4 => v1.0.5 (10GB)
...
Update from v1.0.9 => v1.0.10 (10GB) => So to update from v1.0.1 => v1.0.10 . The total download size will be 100GB.
Meanwhile, if we just create "update only" like this:
Base game.
Update from base => v1.0.10 (10GB) => total size is only 10GB.
I hope you understand the pros and cons of each option.
People who have downloaded 150 GB for the game can handle downloading another 7-10 GB, especially when they are critical patches, and the ones they are releasing are because they are emergency patches.
I understand that it may be frustrating for you, but if we ask them it is for a reason, not because we enjoy doing it.
continuously uploading updates => will lead to re-uploading the entire game (standalone) next week if following this tight schedule. Because everything here is for the majority.
You will understand it like this. For example, you are a person who has not played this game, and you come to this post to start downloading the game. Will you download it when you see the base game (150GB) + over 100GB for patch @_@... maybe a total of ~300GB. I believe no, only a few people decide to download.
That is why I said everything should work for the majority.
=======
Or a more specific example, for your case. Say you have v1.0.2, and you are busy with work for about 2 weeks, you don't have time to play. After 2 weeks, you come back here, and you see each update, from v1.0.3, v1.0.4,... with almost 100GB to download. Do you want to download each one? Or would you like to download only 10GB, from v1.0.2 => v1.0.xx.
(After all, the total size of the game will be only 150GB in the end). I believe when you see that, you will want to find another place to re-download the whole game with the latest version, v1.0.xx, instead of downloading each one with 2 times the size of the game
Yes but also think of the insane server costs as well as the time it takes for their staff to find the update+ crack for that scene version, then check if it works(along with virus check), then repack it for this site, then upload it and then moderate the comments about it to see if it worked out, then troubleshoot if it didn't...its basically a full time jobs worth of administration work if you did this for even 10 games a day and they upload like a 100 games a day. it makes perfect sense but i do wish they would offer some solution like maybe just have the fully updated version at the end of every week or something. until then well just have to suss it out via CSrin
oh nvm i didnt read his other post, they do have a solution, just skipping every other patch, ya i don't see an issue with this, like i said if its a huge issue for anyone they can go grab .03 from csrin or w/e and troubleshoot an update and if that's "to hard and confusing" for them to do, well then you'll know why they chose to skip every other update hah!
those who want to download the patch will download them, when you are the one who decides not to make a patch available you are the one who is choosing for others
The problem is not "..those who want to download the patch will download them.." . What about those who come later? they don't like this option. And once Update Only v1.0.3 is uploaded, it is an irreversible process. Therefore, I always choose based on the majority.
while the updates there are very small, only a few hundred MB. But most of them are lazy to update one by one, they just want to download everything at once. I work here long enough, so I know what the majority wants. Sincerely sorry for not being able to meet your request, please accept my apology.
you still don't understand, if now I share you the link to download update "v1.0.2 -> v1.0.3". Then in a few days, your game will be stuck with v1.0.3 "forever". Because then I will upload v1.0.2 -> v1.0.4 in the above post. And you won't be able to use it, because you already have v1.0.3.
you can always re-upload a standalone version (base game + all released updates) later if you really don't like the fact that you have multiple consecutive patches to install
if what you do goes by the majority, then for what I see below in the comments they always want the new patch and I don't read any complaints
Easy to talk when you're not the one who act/do that thing. If IGG have to always upload base game with updates everytime the update release, it will consume his whole day time and efforts just for one game
I know you will upset with @roosevelt2362's statement. But, if IGG only take care one game that updating every 1-2 days, it will take so much time and effort for him. Remember, he is only one man that try to fulfill as much request as he can
I know a lot of people will be angry about this, but we really shouldn't have uploaded v1.0.3 (I actually uploaded it yesterday, but I decided not to update it in the above post).
There are fascists in every country, Ukraine has a problem with the Right Sector and the Azov Battalion, but these associations do not reflect the millions of other Ukrainians. How fascist do you think the Russians are? Im a german and together with a ukraine refugee, she was bombed by the Russians and almost killed, a rocket hit her house, don't talk about things you have no idea about. Ukraine is in a proxy war, the West and the Russians shit on people's lives, look for the guilty ones in politics, not in simple game manufacturers. Politics has no place here anyway, enjoy the game or dont download it.
Thx IGG-Team & supporting Members/Guests, you´re a blessing and very appreciated🤗♥️ Thx for your patience,which i know you have alot of,😄 I wish you all a Merry Christmas🎅
Sooo...i really wanted to wait, at least a year to download this one,but cant resist anymore, damn it 😆Need more Space, more, more, more🤦
Edit after playtesting (patch1.3) Just a little FYI: Probably most of you know, still for those who dont, there are very helpful so-called ini-tweaks/files, for unreal-engine (configurable files),on nexusmods.com as example.
Since years I prefer to use them when needed(or editing myself), which can drastically improve gameplay/fps, especially on "lower-end" cpu/gpu´s. Youtube can help here, understanding these ini-files,too Or in this case just google stalker 2 unreal engine.ini,
its worth understanding, but it is also sad cuz we as "customers" tweak which shouldnt be to begin with.
outside of quests, it works mostly fine for me. but, i havent been playing lately. as i was play that indiana jones game, but thats finished now. (not 100% since its a pirated game, and no nice trophies will populate steam/gog. but now im re visiting metro exodus, and ACO. some CP2077.
i give it a few months until its mostly resolved. then when they release the new "AI" (idk what its called) feature they wanted in the game, that will create more bugs. so, about a year at the least until this is complete. then DLC's will start to come out and yep, more bugs lmao.
Unoptimized buggy unstable full of potential aka story of STALKER games....155 gigs on game pass, wait for patches pray for mods (and with this small team is gonna take like 12-18 months to realize that potetial)i love the game the diamond is there but is very raw.
I recommend Stalker: Anomaly for peeps who don't want to download a gluttonous 150gb game. It is a free game on ModDB that is a standalone, moddable mashup of the original games with new graphics and gameplay mechanics. It is excellent.
My heart always stops for a second whenever I see Part 1 – Part 2 – Part 3 – Part 4 – Part 5 – Part 6 – Part 7 – Part 8 – Part 9 – Part 10 – Part 11 – Part 12 – Part 13 – Part 14 – Part 15 – Part 16 – Part 17 – Part 18 – Part 19 – Part 20 – Part 21 – Part 22 – Part 23 – Part 24 – Part 25 – Part 26 – Part 27 – Part 28 – Part 29 – Part 30
Lmao, I'll pass. I'll spend more time downloading than playing, while some indies I own and haven't played are under a gig and offer me multiple hours of unique gameplay and fun! ^-^ Maybe some other day.
shots do, have killed 10 or close to it. thats about the one thing i have seen the most of. when it hits you, and when you shoot it is the only time it becomes visible.
Hey IGG, this update is MASSIVE (100+ gb in size). I just wanna be one of the few who THANKS YOU bc usually you would say "fuck it" on a game of this size, and just go torrent only. (I know update only) is out the question. "steam owners" must also redownload most the entire game.
So, thank you for uploading this massive pain in the ass again.
for those UNCLEAR you MUST redownload the 30 parts above to get from 1.0.3 to 1.1.1 there is no in between anywhere else either! (if you go from 1.0.3 prior version using that small patch above you WILL get "Crash" reports and it will no longer work!) dont be an idiot and not look at real numbers for an update.
all the sour puss comments, for what? BITCH at the game developers for making a 100gb update!
nowhere has "update only" from 1.0.3 to 1.1 dude. i would name the 4 trusted by many- sites i checked. but not one has "just an update" they all have (redownload) if they have uploaded it at all. the update alone is 100GB in size (slightly more) taking a chance (if you find an update only) to which is still 100gb that it even works with the version on IGG. if it doesnt, then your shit out of luck on 100gb of shit you just downloaded. and you still "havent updated".
"upload 150gb game, host 110gb or so more for update" complains its now the same size it was prior. (your not saving any space finding just an update) maybe 15gb.
took while i was "sleeping" to download, whats to envy? i use a download manager to "download for me" bc im not as dumb as half the others clicking one at a time for direct downloads.
to be clear, i still have to click one at a time to get a download link. but, with a download manager. the downloads will start "one after another" while im off doing "fuck all" elsewhere (like sleeping)..
torrents are out the question for me too, but you can make it WAY easier on yourself using IDM, XDM, or jdownloader 2 and allowing your "downloaded" parts to be in a queue function so they start "one after another" (also downloads way faster too) or slower if you want to limit its speed to watch youtube/stream movies. (check your PM for once)
if you do "update" without doing it right, going from 1.0.3 to 1.1.1 (using nothing but that small ass patch) you will see the image below and that is on you its posted in the comments everywhere now, and other sites have people complaining too. be thankful its here at all!
That has to be it, since 1.1.1 runs "30%" better than it used to. (im now locked) at a 60fps high/ultra settings on this game. (crashed ALOT prior tho) but that was due to having the power draw on my gpu set to 30% for "youtube, movies, etc". after i set it to its usual clocks, it ran great.
huge huge recommendation to anyone downloading this game to grab the Alife mod that expands the NPC spawn and interaction circle to be about 4-10x. without it you get the same issue CDPR had with police just spawning right behind you as soon as you turn around(it also does not seem to effect my fps n i have an i7). however with the alife mod you get a more fallout 4 style experience. if you have a REALLY good cpu (not gpu!) you can get the extra large version and you'll begin to see emergent gameplay occur like in the old stalkers(camps getting raided and taken over, random stalkers getting shook down and then returning with friends for vengeance and wicked cool stuff like that. its actually very frustrating that the system is so complete but unable to launched properly yet. this game is going to compete with games like elden ring and bg 3 for best modern game as soon as they get that working because its so insanely and transformitivly immersive. i can easily see all the fallout 4 moders moving to this game when they release modtools since there is so much more to work with foundation wise. in like 6 months this game will be banging so hard.
Can confirm, work great for me with no hints of it impacting performance.
Feels like the old stalker again, hearing fire fights and yelling in the distance.
No better feeling than getting into a tough fight with some bandits or mutants and mid way through the battle you hear more gun fire and see allies join the battle 💪
If you were able to play fine on the base game, then updated to 1.0.1 then to 1.0.2 and constantly kept crashing. you also had to have been running this in admin mode (which is a step on the devs "how to run this game" page on steam) stop running it in admin mode. instantly solved my crashing. was every 10 min or so "CTD" now, its been well over an hour. (still running in the background as i type this). Happy hunting!
while i know this isnt the "usual" deal for cracked games, (bc you always run in admin mode to avoid issues) this is one time i will say to not use it. (probably the only time ive ever said this for a cracked game).
"wake up and go to sleep" was my ALL TIME FAVORITE line they would use, when one would be snoring, moe would slap em. and say that. man, i was LITTLE back then and would watch them for hours on end...
i do not recall this cameo however, nor have i watched any 3 stooges in along time. so i may end up checking them out.
You can watch the clip of The Three Stooges' cameo appearance in that movie on YouTube. They were getting old by that time (Curly Joe, not Shemp or the original Curly was with Moe and Larry) and it would be dangerous for them to perform any physical comedy at their age, even if it was just pretend acting, so that's all they could do as the honorary kings of comedy.
Bro i updated from day one patch to 1.1 (without opening) Upadated again to 1.2. Played Straing 4 hourse 0 Crash, Fps improved by 5+ Feels little less buggy. I dont know what your rig is mine is pretty average was playing in low mid (graphics) after update 1.2 mid high settings getting stable 60 fps in 1080p. in Conclusiong Update 1.2 worked fine for me Love you Igg as always.
My rig is a mid/high tier PC. however, were you running this as admin? people usually comment on stuff, but miss the most important part of it.
this updated works fine for me now too after removing what i had done to it myself in prior patches. *i had also changed the "RUNE" name in the emu to craxton when i first got the game, then changed it back the other day to RUNE again. so i fixed that too.
its likely that could be what resolved it, but the issue will not recreate unless i manually run it as admin. (which i was having the game set to automatically run as admin).
"right click, change settings for all users, run as admin, apply" (thats how the game launched as admin every launch. again tho, now its just running like a normal game would. no admin. runs fine.
You should expect it to Hyper realistic FPS/Survival/Movie game made in Unreal Engine. Many devs fall in the trap of adding too many graphical shit while leaving the rest of the important stuff like game mechanics in the backburner.
I so much agree on that!👍👍 Make(devs) good game mechanics, actually thats it. Only Hyper realistic if they manage to code most of parts themself, without bloating blurry, bloomy and most importantly "real" Volumetric-Fog, which also had to be anti-aliased(this part takes already so much unwanted ressources). Or at least give us options to turn this shyte off!!
Since 96kkrieger(Ego-Shooter from 2004),a friend(Amiga-Fanatic&Assembly-Coder),back then, showed that to me, and said : "mostly its "coding-lazyness" using General-Engines(UE,Unity etc) to save alot time." However, because of that, intentionally forcing users to get better Hardware more and more. That were his words(around 2011-12),but i came to believe it right away.....grgrgrgrgr😈Fortunately there are some Indies, who understood that.
"beta" is all they had to do, or alpha bc (its for sure not in beta yet) i forgive all the sloppy mess this game is in personally. but they gotta fix how they release these updates.
for those about to update from zero day patch to 1.0.1
BACKUP THE PAK FOLDER ALL OF IT! which will be 120GB of PAK files, otherwise you cant revert if you wish! i was going to upload a backup until i realized it was 120+GB of stuff to compress, then upload (not doing all that bc that is mostly the entire game).
SO MAKE DAM SURE YOU BACKUP using the installer's option. yes, you will have 120gb backup folder, but it beats the fuxk out of re downloading the entire game bc you are no longer able to play. *if you still have the installation folder/installer that will do just fine from the previous version. (i am not sure if that would be base game with/without zero day patch however).
Hi guys, i have the latest update (v1.0.1), but it crashes a lot, I guess the developer will update a hotfix tomorrow. If they don't implement it, I will still upload it.
They will never make a patch over the weekend, plus it seems that the new problems only come from people who have mods, command at launch start or those who start it in administrator mode. Upload the patch anyway, even if only for those who want to take a risk.
from what i just gathered, no "mods" are mentioned. its quite literally "after update, i cant get into the game" "optional launch parameters selected" "continues showing in steam its running, nothing happens". update at your own peril.
edit- "running as admin" is causing issues somehow, many complaints that turning it off got them passed the issue of "access violation" even tho the devs state to run this as admin.
i have a 4070ti and 5800x i get mostly 40/60 FPS on DD2 (dev leak build) on max settings AT 4k native no DLSS, or "frame gen" nonsense turned on! only dips i get is when i play for a long while and leave Brave running in the background with several tabs open. i have no "player mods" installed to help this run better. shadows are turned down since they didnt appear much better between high and low*.
this game tho is pretty bad at this time. but, its actively being worked on. waiting for a patch to play it would be wise. (another patch not the 0 day release) as it put other problems that weren't caught before release. my hope (if they update on IGG that IGG indeed does "PATCH updates and not REUPLOAD updates". bc this is massive to download...
This game originally made for pc, it's not converted from console tho. If it's about poorly optimized I guess it's not, since it run fine on recommendation system req on (3070Ti & 32Gb Ram). If u play on minimum / lower than system req of course the performance would be no optimal. But if u play the same as / higher than system req then your pc probably is poorly optimized / got some problem.
this runs poor on a top tier pc. 4090 and a ryzen 7 9800X3D was being hit hard at 40fps in most places. this is just poorly optimized at this time. its all over their discord about it too. go check out Digital Foundry and see their review. while performance is better on the 0 day patch, its still pretty badly optimized at this time. (which from review time till release over 1,000 bugs were fixed. BUT some of those bug fixes made other bugs in the process).
No game made for PC needs 'shaders are compiled'. That is a fact. So save your half-knowledge. The X-Ray Engine and Stalker 2 were originally for PC, but you can see what happened to them. This shitty console filth is ruining all games. Why? Because they simply have more control over it.
And by the way, anyone who has ever played the original alpha of Stalker (2004) knows how awesome Stalker could have been. Even the complete MOD doesn't come close to the atmosphere that the leak had. Even back then, GSC ruined everything.
never could get lossless scaling to work proper on my setup. maybe bc the game i tried it on, i already had good frames. but it seemed like it just made things worse for me...
In terms of bugs and such, I don't know what people were expecting. The bugs and issues don't matter in the long run as you mentioned, but rather, whether the game is appealing/easy-enough for modders to engage with it.
I really hope the latter is the case. From the little I've seen, there's a potential gold mine underneath the expected jank.
considering how cp2077 was, somewhat... GOG was the uploaded version for a while. (owned GOG paid version) but pirated PL dlc. then, IGG swapped to steams version, which made for a "redownload" of the entire game. thats when i said "fuck this" and paid for the 30 dollar dlc.
the latest update for CP2077 was done by a different team lol.. GSC hired someone else too?
Works pretty great now. (at least 1.1.1) dont have 1.1.2 yet... but, im so far into the story (just got to Pripyat in the story and not glitching there) that most the fixes for quests dont matter. performance wise tho, its a night and day difference. although my "overclocks" are not stable now at all.
as for CP2077, i have not booted the latest update up yet. (its finished its 80gb download) but ive been playing this and ACO
Can't give tooo much help here but I didn't have any crashing issues with any of the versions I tested. Only crashed 2 times total, both on the base 1.0 version.
However something that helped me massively with quality and framerate was turning off upscaling. With a 4080 you really don't even need it. Also turning off frame gen is a huge must for me as it causes my laser and holo sights to ghost hard.
For reference I only have a Radeon RX 7600xt and a Ryzen 7 2700 base version with an overkill of 64gb ram and I can run everything on 4k epic at right around 60fps so yours really shouldn't have any issue.
Last thing I can really suggest is to make sure all your drivers are up to date, especially gpu, and launch the game at the lowest resolution and settings until it's stable and work your way up.
Game is still broken, i tried i9 14th gen with 4080, and facing fps drops to 5-20 fps randomly not crash, and without restarting game, no solution for this one, if you load the game more than twice, highly possible will face this issue, so its unplayable however i tried the game on legion laptop with 3070, its smoother without massive drops on 1440p. Interesting game they developed :)
are you running as admin? if so, dont. if not, do so lol. (its a mixed bag for everyone dude). my 4070ti crashed none until 1.0.2 then i couldn play at all without crashing every 10 min. turned out, it hated being on admin mode after the update. since updating now, i have not played at all. so i cant say how this 1.0.3 patch will be. but, there are a few tricks to try in the comments.
No worries, Ill update to 1.03 and see how it goes. It auto sets to 4k resolution, could be the issue. Haven't had that problem with others games though. The game runs smooth at 100+fps but still crashes. Maybe gpu overload or something. Ill fiddle with it and see how I go.
EDIT- i was finally able to keep it from crashing, but its a LONG SHOT for anyone else i would assume. still dont run in admin mode but, go into the graphics settings. and turn on "reflex" (dont know why or how this would help) but i played for 3/4 hours or longer without a crash or issue on 1.0.3 today.
1.0.2 was stable, if that is what your on. KEEP IT THERE! consistent crashing for me now on 1.0.3. do not run 1.0.2 in admin mode. turn textures from ultra to high, no DLSS b.s. or FG either (yes, native 1440p is what i use) or maybe slightly above closer to 4k. not sure.
It's technically already out but this page is doing every other update now so save on downloads. So the next one here will be 1.0.4. And yes it will include 1.0.3 in it.
However, if you download 1.0.3 from elsewhere then when 1.0.4 and all subsequent updates are released here it won't be compatible and could likely break your install.
not going to lie, i was wondering if something had happened to you. strange to not see your name with a remark on a game being shit haha (i agree about EA) beta, alpha, EA "WIP" anything that says unfinished.
I pray and wish good luck for people who have decided to play through this now!
I remember eagerly waiting for STALKER Clear Sky and playing it when it launched. A marvel of game design it was.
After getting soft-locked twice during two 50-hour playthroughs, I finally gave up. Back then too, GSC were quick to fix the bugs and release updates, but it came at a small cost ... It corrupted your save files and you had to start anew 😄
It's a great progress that I haven't read anything similar in STALKER 2 HoC.
I had quite a similar experience with Clear Sky.Actually with Stalker 1,too😄 I remember how pissed i was and left it be 2-3 months, to give it a another try 👍😄
Man, you were really brave coming back after 2-3 months 👌 My actual full playthrough of Clear Sky happened exactly a decade after the launch trauma in 2018 😄
My final doomed playthrough in 2008 (3rd playthrough) was when I entered a large STALKER settlement which was battling a bandit raid. When the raid finished, I saw a body in the middle of the camp and was like "Oh, this poor dude has died." only to realize 10 hours later that he was an essential NPC and is supposed to progress my main quest 😂
It's funny that you can barely find any bandage or medkit in the old trilogy, but in this game there's almost no need to worry about healing items. Some stashes give you more than 10 "healing cheese" at once!! Can't wait to find myself some good guns and start blasting those bandits away.
what difficulty are you on? if your on "easy" (not what its called) but youll find an ass load of items. medium, not as much and AI hurts more. but "STALKER" mode is hardcore and most items are hard to find. at least on mine. (10+hrs or more in game) in second unlocked zone now. have several good guns. but still, healing items etc are hard to come by.
Yeah I'm on Stalker difficulty since they say enemies will be MUCH weaker than usual on easy, but stashes provided by NPC on Stalker difficulty still gives tons and tons of loot.
In old games you wouldn't find shit even if you're on easy difficulty/tourist loadout.
What I hate the most about this game is how it starts you with a HK416 then removes it with a story event. Classic AAA "invitational bait" bullshit.
lmao ya, i was like... leave me with a POS pistol i cant get out of my inv?!? the best "vest" ive found is the "reporters" (not what the game calls him i dont believe) but his vest you can wear the "max" rad giving item in a slot, and it not bother you. vest does not tell you this. i have four in mind all with max radiation at this time and dont get any rad poisoning.
i never really played the original, dont know why. and after playing a bit more, i take back what i said prior. shit is everywhere. the only thing i dont see is shit trying to kill me enough. other than human NPC at a location im supposed to sneak into. but very little animals and shit to be found now that im quite far into the story.... can run 1.2km and not see a THING other than anomaly's or a random NPC telling me to "talk to their boss".... (thats running thru fields, and stuff where i should find something, and between broken down houses/shelter etc).
Yeah, generally Stalker 2 is much more tamed. You barely run into any hostile entities if you just run along the roads but whenever you're at a mission spot? Boy that's where the game shows its teeth... But I'm happy that they decided to include "stealth kill" mechanic, I was surprised finding that out while trying to save Gloomy. Really makes a difference when YOU become the one that's ambushing.
this is worse than the cyberpunk release some friends from discord got the game from steam and all of them are saying the same "this crap its a lazy unoptimized piece of shit" "wtf this run like shit in my 2080ti" "dude dont get it yet this crap its terrible"
runs *great on my 4070ti/5800x setup. minus when you kill someone and "look at their face" it TANKS the FPS. other than that, i mostly have 60fps. have yet had any real bugs.... for sure needs more fixes tho. *dev's had review copies released, bugs found, over 1,000 bugs were fixed before "public release". This is by far one of the biggest maps ive encountered in a long while. as for CP2077, i had no issues playing that. (on a 1600af and 2070s back then).
note- 30,000 mostly positive reviews on steam. bugs aside, im loving this. also take into account, over 1,000,000 copies sold! people who paid (mostly) are overlooking the current bugs since its actually really good.
My potato laptop (medium spec build) can't run this beyond 30 fps so I guess I'll have to wait for the sale before getting back to this again. Hopefully they would have good conversion mods by then.
lol. Love yall site, but my limit to download is 25GB. Anything more, I just buy it when its on sale. Reason being, every game i download i "rar" up and save them into a folder with the other games i have rar up, and put them on a disc (25GB). Can't save 144GB on a disc ;)
You do realized alot of games that get removed from steam , etc or just hard to find games , well its good to store them onto a disc so you can always have it, just in case the game is hard to find elsewhere. Having certain files, games, is important, trust me.
yes i zip/rar up games that i download, then save them into a folder and from that folder i burned the files into a blank media disc 25GB. I have over 572 PC games, mostly bought, but hundreds of discs with games on it as well. Been collecting games since EBWorld :)
It's been a long time since i used a disc, probably the last time was 20 years ago :)), interesting to know about this. From my understanding, physical disks are pretty good for storage (compared to SSD's chips), if you need to store documents for decades, and you rarely use them.
it takes time to update, don't just look at the small patch size. It's updating over 130GB. Killing the installer will cause existing files to be corrupted because it's still essentially "writing/modifying" them.
do you pay for server upkeep, file hosting sites (accounts anyways), as well as manage every other game on the site for the most part? didn think so bro. 1.0.4 will release soon enough, if your unable to play 1.0.2. then 1.0.3 will not "magically" fix your problems. (maybe quests) but 1.0.2 is the best so far for performance wise. (yes, i tested 1.0.3) 5/8 less FPS on the exact same settings.
EDIT- i see you already have, as thats what i just done.
edit- point was, you dont get updates by asking in the games main page.
srrDB has yet (at this time) posted any release from RUNE, let alone anyone else with the updated files/crack for this recent version however. So, it may take a few hours until its here.
besides, so long as its "steam" it shouldnt make any difference which "update" is used. downloading now, let see if all those steam complaints have much marett on the cracked version.
game ran "ok" prior minus after an hour id have issues. lucky for me i have the space to backup/copy the current version i have to another drive/location. just in case this proves to not run at all now.
as "removing admin rights" on a cracked game isnt ideal, so im skeptical at best.
Edit file <STALKER 2 intallation folder>\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv153\Win64\steam_emu.ini
and change line:
DLCUnlockall=0
to
DLCUnlockall=1
and enjoy ultimate edition :)
patches over patches over patches
i rather wait until they finally really fix their shit instead of playing at the current state and spoil my experience
meanwhile cyberpunk 2077 "seems" to finally fix their shit after 4 years
That's why the stealth issue with enemies detecting you through walls and foliage/shooting you from 300 yards away is still a problem..
EDIT- 1.0.3 is worse than 1.0.2 was. i can not play the game lmao (happened on 1.0.2 too, but i fixed that by not running as admin) now that isnt the case. guess i shuda copied my 1.0.2 version to another location before updating fully. *tried out 1.0.3 elsewhere, crashed and had less FPS than before so i was fine with waiting. i somehow thought it was the optimized tweaks mod i had installed, but that isnt the issue. game still runs good when its running for me but "when its running" is the problem.
cp2077 they said it finally fixed for good go there
or play something else not only fucking AAA games
"Noita" for example that game with mods will make your nasa pc run like shit and probably crash but totally worth it
or play the red dead 1 i already finished all 100% including undead nightmare
pc is far from nasa spec i used afterpay to "make payments" on the GPU which is what i suggest anyone else doing looking to upgrade since (NO INTREST)
next on list
the thing
I created this account just so I can thank you now. (And in future)
Been using this site for years and it has been such a pleasure.
You are organized and know how to handle the game uploads and patches.
You are a blessing for my wallet. <3
That would be a more DIGNIFIED and less PATHETIC act than what you just did.
if not then what the hell are you doing in this site?
Lol.
The mod is less than 1MB and is so easy to install... get luck and hope this helps because this game is SO worth it!

if you deleted those saves without backups, thats a no go!
im on nvidia however, have yet encountered this issue. 1.1.1 worked great. and 1.1.2 is working fine too. but, if i run this game as an "admin" it crashes nonstop.
p.s. you did redownload the entire game correct? then update to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2?
no "mentions" of AMD/nvidia gpus as being the issue as this is a widespread problem for team red, and green but you can try this doing the OP method is the most spoken "works" and "thanks" mentions in that thread.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfsPkssVhi4&t=1s
Update works on v1.1 or v1.1.1
Performance optimization and most important fix of bugged missions that you can't complete or are completed poorly, how should these be small?
=> So to update from v1.0.1 => v1.0.10 . The total download size will be 100GB.
=> total size is only 10GB.
I understand that it may be frustrating for you, but if we ask them it is for a reason, not because we enjoy doing it.
=======
The problem is not "..those who want to download the patch will download them.." . What about those who come later? they don't like this option. And once Update Only v1.0.3 is uploaded, it is an irreversible process. Therefore, I always choose based on the majority.
===
a good example, you can see in this game, dozens of people complain about it, even I had to delete some comments (they fuck me a lot there, most of these accounts got banned afterwards):
https://igg-games.com/baldurs-gate-3-1964527841-free-download.html
while the updates there are very small, only a few hundred MB. But most of them are lazy to update one by one, they just want to download everything at once. I work here long enough, so I know what the majority wants. Sincerely sorry for not being able to meet your request, please accept my apology.
if what you do goes by the majority, then for what I see below in the comments they always want the new patch and I don't read any complaints
m happy not to buy, it
s made in Ukraine after all lmaoDo humanity a favour and never reproduse.
this is a piracy site
i dont give a shit if this is made by an organization full of psychopaths
you´re a blessing and very appreciated🤗♥️
Thx for your patience, which i know you have alot of,😄
I wish you all a Merry Christmas🎅
Sooo...i really wanted to wait, at least a year to download this one,but
cant resist anymore,damn it 😆Need more Space,more,more,more🤦
Edit after playtesting (patch1.3)
Just a little FYI:
Probably most of you know, still for those who dont,
there are very helpful so-called ini-tweaks/files,
for unreal-engine (configurable files),on nexusmods.com as example.
Since years I prefer to use them when needed(or editing myself),
which can drastically improve gameplay/fps,
especially on "lower-end" cpu/gpu´s.
Youtube can help here, understanding these ini-files,too
Or in this case just google stalker 2 unreal engine.ini,
its worth understanding, but it is also sad cuz we as "customers"
tweak which shouldnt be to begin with.
i give it a few months until its mostly resolved. then when they release the new "AI" (idk what its called) feature they wanted in the game, that will create more bugs. so, about a year at the least until this is complete. then DLC's will start to come out and yep, more bugs lmao.
even with the bugs, its still a dam good gam tho.
Part 1 – Part 2 – Part 3 – Part 4 – Part 5 – Part 6 – Part 7 – Part 8 – Part 9 – Part 10 – Part 11 – Part 12 – Part 13 – Part 14 – Part 15 – Part 16 – Part 17 – Part 18 – Part 19 – Part 20 – Part 21 – Part 22 – Part 23 – Part 24 – Part 25 – Part 26 – Part 27 – Part 28 – Part 29 – Part 30
Lmao, I'll pass. I'll spend more time downloading than playing, while some indies I own and haven't played are under a gig and offer me multiple hours of unique gameplay and fun! ^-^
Maybe some other day.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=im6jl_YGl3M
So, thank you for uploading this massive pain in the ass again.
for those UNCLEAR you MUST redownload the 30 parts above to get from 1.0.3 to 1.1.1 there is no in between anywhere else either! (if you go from 1.0.3 prior version using that small patch above you WILL get "Crash" reports and it will no longer work!) dont be an idiot and not look at real numbers for an update.
all the sour puss comments, for what? BITCH at the game developers for making a 100gb update!
I will grab the patch 1.1.2 directly on another site...
if they have uploaded it at all. the update alone is 100GB in size (slightly more)
taking a chance (if you find an update only) to which is still 100gb that it even works with the version on IGG. if it doesnt, then your shit out of luck on 100gb of shit you just downloaded. and you still "havent updated".
"upload 150gb game, host 110gb or so more for update" complains its now the same size it was prior. (your not saving any space finding just an update) maybe 15gb.
kind of envy it
to be clear, i still have to click one at a time to get a download link. but, with a download manager. the downloads will start "one after another" while im off doing "fuck all" elsewhere (like sleeping)..
have to click one by one
be mindful to remove such mod when updating the game however or itll likely cause issues.
A life extended, god tier must have mod
Feels like the old stalker again, hearing fire fights and yelling in the distance.
No better feeling than getting into a tough fight with some bandits or mutants and mid way through the battle you hear more gun fire and see allies join the battle 💪
stop running it in admin mode. instantly solved my crashing. was every 10 min or so "CTD" now, its been well over an hour. (still running in the background as i type this). Happy hunting!
while i know this isnt the "usual" deal for cracked games, (bc you always run in admin mode to avoid issues) this is one time i will say to not use it. (probably the only time ive ever said this for a cracked game).
It's before my time but still funny - It features The Tree Stooges in a cameo appearance!
i do not recall this cameo however, nor have i watched any 3 stooges in along time. so i may end up checking them out.
people usually comment on stuff, but miss the most important part of it.
this updated works fine for me now too after removing what i had done to it myself in prior patches.
"right click, change settings for all users, run as admin, apply" (thats how the game launched as admin every launch. again tho, now its just running like a normal game would. no admin. runs fine.
Make(devs) good game mechanics, actually thats it.
Only Hyper realistic if they manage to code most of parts themself,
without bloating blurry, bloomy and most importantly "real" Volumetric-Fog,
which also had to be anti-aliased(this part takes already so much unwanted ressources).
Or at least give us options to turn this shyte off!!
Since 96kkrieger(Ego-Shooter from 2004),a friend(Amiga-Fanatic&Assembly-Coder),back then,
showed that to me, and said : "mostly its "coding-lazyness" using General-Engines(UE,Unity etc) to save alot time."
However,because of that,intentionally forcing users
to get better Hardware more and more.
That were his words(around 2011-12),but i came to believe it right away.....grgrgrgrgr😈Fortunately there are some Indies,
who understood that.
Little FYI: .kkrieger
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fZBUsn5RYg
SO take this update as it is!
Please wait another half day :))
edit- "running as admin" is causing issues somehow, many complaints that turning it off got them passed the issue of "access violation" even tho the devs state to run this as admin.
DLC ;) or else lol
Without two 3080TI you can't play something like that in full detail.
But it was the same with part 1, in the end the players had to optimize it again....
this is the game who is an unoptimized piece of shit
no matter how many monsters gpu you have it will run like shit
on max settings AT 4k native no DLSS, or "frame gen" nonsense turned on!
only dips i get is when i play for a long while and leave Brave running in the background with several tabs open. i have no "player mods" installed to help this run better. shadows are turned down since they didnt appear much better between high and low*.
this game tho is pretty bad at this time. but, its actively being worked on. waiting for a patch to play it would be wise. (another patch not the 0 day release) as it put other problems that weren't caught before release. my hope (if they update on IGG that IGG indeed does "PATCH updates and not REUPLOAD updates". bc this is massive to download...
New games with very complex 3d meshes simply need more complex shaders so it takes much more time to compile
maybe bc the game i tried it on, i already had good frames.
but it seemed like it just made things worse for me...
The bugs and issues don't matter in the long run as you mentioned, but rather, whether the game is appealing/easy-enough for modders to engage with it.
I really hope the latter is the case. From the little I've seen, there's a potential gold mine underneath the expected jank.
33 parts
guess no other choice to use Torrent instead.
anyway back to cyberpunk 2077
GOG was the uploaded version for a while. (owned GOG paid version)
but pirated PL dlc. then, IGG swapped to steams version, which made for a "redownload" of the entire game. thats when i said "fuck this" and paid for the 30 dollar dlc.
the latest update for CP2077 was done by a different team lol.. GSC hired someone else too?
god damn about time
but, im so far into the story (just got to Pripyat in the story and not glitching there) that most the fixes for quests dont matter. performance wise tho, its a night and day difference. although my "overclocks" are not stable now at all.
as for CP2077, i have not booted the latest update up yet. (its finished its 80gb download) but ive been playing this and ACO
My specs are
4080 super
I9 13900k
Not sure what settings to put it on. The game defaults everything to epic
It auto sets to 4k resolution, could be the issue. Haven't had that problem with others games though.
The game runs smooth at 100+fps but still crashes.
Maybe gpu overload or something.
Ill fiddle with it and see how I go.
1.0.2 was stable, if that is what your on. KEEP IT THERE! consistent crashing for me now on 1.0.3. do not run 1.0.2 in admin mode. turn textures from ultra to high, no DLSS b.s. or FG either (yes, native 1440p is what i use) or maybe slightly above closer to 4k. not sure.
update 1.0.3 will come?
However, if you download 1.0.3 from elsewhere then when 1.0.4 and all subsequent updates are released here it won't be compatible and could likely break your install.
Best to wait for updates here.
would be easier to avoid all this mess if they added the early access tag
I remember eagerly waiting for STALKER Clear Sky and playing it when it launched. A marvel of game design it was.
After getting soft-locked twice during two 50-hour playthroughs, I finally gave up. Back then too, GSC were quick to fix the bugs and release updates, but it came at a small cost ... It corrupted your save files and you had to start anew 😄
It's a great progress that I haven't read anything similar in STALKER 2 HoC.
I remember how pissed i was and left it be 2-3 months, to give it a another try
👍😄
My actual full playthrough of Clear Sky happened exactly a decade after the launch trauma in 2018 😄
My final doomed playthrough in 2008 (3rd playthrough) was when I entered a large STALKER settlement which was battling a bandit raid. When the raid finished, I saw a body in the middle of the camp and was like "Oh, this poor dude has died." only to realize 10 hours later that he was an essential NPC and is supposed to progress my main quest 😂
Such was the life in the zone.
Can't wait to find myself some good guns and start blasting those bandits away.
youll find an ass load of items. medium, not as much and AI hurts more.
but "STALKER" mode is hardcore and most items are hard to find.
at least on mine. (10+hrs or more in game) in second unlocked zone now.
have several good guns. but still, healing items etc are hard to come by.
In old games you wouldn't find shit even if you're on easy difficulty/tourist loadout.
What I hate the most about this game is how it starts you with a HK416 then removes it with a story event. Classic AAA "invitational bait" bullshit.
the best "vest" ive found is the "reporters" (not what the game calls him i dont believe) but his vest you can wear the "max" rad giving item in a slot, and it not bother you. vest does not tell you this. i have four in mind all with max radiation at this time and dont get any rad poisoning.
i never really played the original, dont know why. and after playing a bit more, i take back what i said prior. shit is everywhere. the only thing i dont see is shit trying to kill me enough. other than human NPC at a location im supposed to sneak into. but very little animals and shit to be found now that im quite far into the story.... can run 1.2km and not see a THING other than anomaly's or a random NPC telling me to "talk to their boss"....
(thats running thru fields, and stuff where i should find something, and between broken down houses/shelter etc).
But I'm happy that they decided to include "stealth kill" mechanic, I was surprised finding that out while trying to save Gloomy. Really makes a difference when YOU become the one that's ambushing.
some friends from discord got the game from steam and all of them are saying the same
"this crap its a lazy unoptimized piece of shit" "wtf this run like shit in my 2080ti"
"dude dont get it yet this crap its terrible"
minus when you kill someone and "look at their face"
it TANKS the FPS. other than that, i mostly have 60fps.
have yet had any real bugs.... for sure needs more fixes tho.
*dev's had review copies released, bugs found, over 1,000 bugs
were fixed before "public release". This is by far one of the biggest
maps ive encountered in a long while. as for CP2077, i had no issues
playing that. (on a 1600af and 2070s back then).
note- 30,000 mostly positive reviews on steam.
bugs aside, im loving this.
also take into account, over 1,000,000 copies sold!
people who paid (mostly) are overlooking the current bugs
since its actually really good.
wait 1 or 2 years cuz is worst than cp2077 when i launched
Just going to wait for a sale and buy it.
I guess that includes some extra stuff.
