Yeah, put em in the same folder, extract with the parts with WinRAR, then go into the Stellaris folder, find the Stellaris EXE file, click the gear in the launcher, then select Windowed Mode, because the game for some reason refuses to run on the other display modes.
So I extracted the files and it didn't ask for a password but there's also no .iso file or an exe. I try to run the application but it says .dll file is missing. I don't see a crack folder. Any ideas?
I didn't get any .exe files (cracks or installers), just a bunch of random folders and .dll files, because someone said an antivirus could get rid of it, I checked the compressed file before extracting, and there's no cracks or installers, no .exe of any sort, am I doing something wrong?
So I had the same problem, and I figured it out. The game requires Direct X 9.0c. If within the file, you search DX, you should see an application file called DXSETUP. Run it, install the correct DirectX version, and it should be fine.
Thanks, but I don't play multiplayer on strategy games anyway, so I'll pass. Plus, just searching "Hamachi" on youtube is really ambiguous, and wouldn't get me anywhere lol I'd have to search "Stellaris multiplayer Hamachi" or something along those lines.
I downloaded all the rar parts of the game and, after setting off the antivirus, i've extracted them in order to install the game. But when i play the exe file named "Stellaris" (even with the amministrator priviledges) the game appears on the windows task bar for few seconds and then disappears immediately! NVM i have finally fixed it, instead of putting [path="mod/] you put [path="mod/(Steam mod id here)/] and it is corrected, if someone cares to explain it better go ahead
I have a brand new gaming laptop with a gtx 1070 in it. I try to run this game and it immediately crashes without even showing a startup screen. I see the program flash open for a second in my taskbar then it vanishes with no error message or anything. Any ideas?
You usually can't play online on pirated games, but also lan is usually available. If you want to play with a friend, just get a software that makes a lan connection between you, like hamachi.

download all the parts, them with winrar open the first one them choose the wizard and complete the process, it should do all the work alone of taken all the parts and putting then together,in the desktop you will fine the game in a carpet, that's all.
That's a game bug. It hasn't happened to me lately, but it could be an error with the graphics card and the game, an error with the game itself and no hardware issues, or (if you pissed of the wrong people) someone is hacking you.

The game is great, if you ever played Civilaztion it is easy to get into, the battle are pretty epic. AI grows really slow, making it less of a Strategy, but a sandbox game. The AI never likes you ,even if you overpower them, they still see you as threat instead of submitting.

Work fine, well if you forget that it dont have all localization files, so the new feature only show the feature name, like trade_Defensive_pact and stuff like that. Still work perfectly, even saved some loose fps on the galactic map. Still dont go at full speed but lag less.
Should still work, cant be sure at an 100% but for EU4 it rarely bugged when patching the game. So Stellaris should be the same. Plus its mainly fixe and no new game needed addition.
This game right now is like a far worse version of Sins of a Solar Empire, or Star Ruler 2. I would only recommend playing this if you get it here. As for taking over planets, you can only control a few planets and have to put the rest in "sectors" and let the non-functioning AI handle placing population and/or buildings on your planet's tiles. The only good part is the very beginning (first couple hours) and then it just falls flat. It has potential, but so did Sword of the Stars 2.
i fully agree with you, there is a lot of repetitive and mundane clicking tasks, dull and little rewarding gameplay progress, lack of development tech tree prevents from adopting custom progress and strategy.. lame ship combats etc. after a couple of days , i have uninstalled and deleted it. (will definitely not come back to it again) thanks to IGG for making me save some money from buying this crap. thanks as well for making me try other games which i have later bought (because i have enjoyed them and they were worth buying), because of IGG i have bought the following games: -Empyrion Galactic Survival -Planet Base -Project Aura -Factorio -Sins of Solar Empire long live to IGG!
its probably because you dont have pixel shader 3.0 on your graphics card, i had the same problem and realized my grapichs card didnt have pixel shader 3.0
You can easily play it on steam aswell when cracked. Just google "Stellaris crack steamworks". Simple drag & drop some files into stellaris main folder and start the game normally while running steam. Invite your friends over steam after launching a lobby. Hf.
Some have asked what the game is like. A bit of Homeworld, Starcraft, Master of Orion all in one titillating sound package. Some have asked how to merge fleet together. Highlight the fleets to merge with Shift and click the fleets then press G and voila. One great share http://Igg-games.com.
Any large file is usually checked for a pirated game as there are rarely and files on the internet above 1GB that is not a game. Basically the bigger the file the more likely it will be closed for piracy. Also its easier as if you had to download 20GB with a slow internet connection you would have to leave your computer on probably over night...
the winrar files are broken i tried extracting them and it created a file that doesn't run and makes everything go black for a sec and then everything is exited out of even my browser
click on a link wait the 5 seconds scroll down and click on the link to next page once it pulls up download the link if theres 2 then download them both not all of a game can be packed into one download sometimes not every link is the same download link some go to google drive some go to other links and sometimes some links are broken
I see that the API changed and now some games have custom methods for doing workshop access. Sad detail. Most the workshop mods are still available with a quick google for stellaris mods though. One site was named something like http://skymods.ru that had functional downloads. Of course I would never go to any *.ru domain without adblock and ghostery running but they had a good selection of mods.
If you get corrupted while extract, you don't need care about it, it only bug while I compressing, You still can mount .ISO and install, then. It worked without problems. You dont need download again.

You will then trying to find (full Screen=yes). change that to (fullScreen=no). you can also change other setting from here too.

It seems a lot of paradox games seem like they're going to be very large, but turn out to be pretty small when compared to other games of the same type x)
