Edit: Figured it out. If anyone else is having issues, it probably has to do with screen resolution. You can append the shortcut to force it into windows mode like this:
You want to make sure there is a space after the quotation marks before putting -windowed there. Then when int he menu you can press esc to get to the settings and tab until you find the screen resolution settings then put what you need.
You can also create a settings file with the correct settings in the appdata folder: C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\kingdom_rush_alliance
Create a text file called setting.lua and paste this. You can change the FPS or the Height, or width or whatever you like, but these settings should allow the game to run if it keeps minimizing on you. Once you'r past that, you can edit the settings however you like in the game anyway.
I can't even play because when I open the mouse it freezes and no matter how much I move it, it stays stuck in the corner of the screen, the game opens everything correctly.
i downloaded to try recreate your problem, tried fullscreen borderless, fullscreen, big mouse, no fullscreen nor borderless, all the ticks i tried. only one gave me issue but not with my mouse. just being out of frame, so big i couldnt hit "start" etc and the menu was as big as my 50in 4k tv... so, if thats what your meaning, run fullscreen borderless options when the launcher pops up...
