@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:
Method 1: before installing the game, check the following box:
Method 2: or after installing the game, open the iso file, copy everything in the "RUNE" folder, then paste them to where you installed the game, enjoy ;) (see tutorial image here if you still dont know: https://igg-games.com/how-885614657-to-install-game-and-update.html)
English not supported. Perhaps sometime in the future the dev can start with an English Interface translation (Easiest and least expensive). If a fan base develops and increases, perhaps English Subtitles can be added (Most difficult and most expensive). See my explanation about translation. 06/25/24 - Update: Don't want to wait for a proper English Translation of a non-English supported game but want to play the game now? You can try to use the freeware "LunaTranslator" combination text hooker (text grabber) and language translator application (GitHub page | Download page) to machine translate or AI translate the game's native text into English (Note: Machine translation is 1:1, word for word translation. Some ideas may get "lost in the translation". AI translation attempts to mimic a natural speaker's translation of a language into English (I haven't tried this method yet)). See the verbose "How to" demo video posted by "Daiya" on YouTube (Note: From her dialogue in the video, Daiya seems to be a teenage girl, so try to bear with the "quirkiness" of her dialogue with the viewer [you]. She set LunaTranslator to use AI translation [See the improved English translated, purple text in the screenshot]). In the past, I personally have used the AGTH (Anime Games Text Hooker application with the Atlas Japanese-English translator application) to try to play untranslated Japanese H-games with machine translation and just discovered this combination text hooker and translator application that supports AI translation (An improvement over machine translation) so, if you have any in-depth questions then it's best to visit the dev, "HIllya51"'s Q&A page on GitHub. The dev, Spike Chunsoft, is planning to release an English translation patch for English support in October 1.
Yeah saw this on steam and couldn't believe it doesn't have English. You don't even have to add voice, just put in subtitles! How hard could that be? I know English speakers are extremely privileged but man it's weird to see a high quality game like this come out and it only has Japanese and Chinese...
Its even worse than that tbf, the game is already translated, the switch version is in english and as I can surmise this version doesnt add anything new, so wtf?
This is a terrible torrent, it says no license, I tried EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE THING to fix it but nothing worked even though I've been cracking games for years and all the solutions I usually do work, what the fuck?
lol, you crack games for years, but you don't know how to use basic game crack... read pinned comment, this way of installing has been around for decades, I'm not exaggerating. Maybe you've been using repack too much.
*This game currently supports Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese only. English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish will be added via a patch update on October 1st, 2024.
The game and the shinigami are good 😏. We just have to wait for them to add the missing languages (including english). Gameplay (JP) --> https://youtu.be/waKqeiriS8k
The Chinese language is already supported. See my post above! For a cracked game, the language settings are usually changed within a text file. Not all cracked games have their language settings in the same, exact named file, folder or subfolder. You would need to go to the installed game's folder and try to find a text file that is called either "steam_api.ini", "steam_emu.ini", "settings.txt", "settings.ini", "language.txt", "force_language.txt" or any file with a file extension of ".ini" or "txt". Sometimes, the name of the Scene or P2P group that cracked the game is used to prefix the name of the text file that has the language settings like "RUNE.txt", "TENOKE.txt", "FLT.txt", "RUNE.ini", "TENOKE.ini", "FLT.ini" ... etc.
Search in any subfolders, if necessary (The text file might not be in the installed folder's root directory) and then open it with Notepad. In the text file, do a search for the key "language". If it is found, set the key's value to a language that is supported by the game (eg. - language = english, language = tchinese, language = schinese, ... etc. Check the game's retail page for supported languages to make sure that the language that you set is actually supported by the game), save the change and then try running the game again.
can you update game please? (16/1/25)
cause korean language pack is added
