when i requested this, i was told it couldnt be done since it was "always" online. i assume, this is similar to how palworld is, since it indeed has been cracked? or was this by 3rd party?
The cracks for Scene or P2P released games are usually coded for playing the single player, offline mode of a game and not for playing a game's multiplayer, online mode. If you want to play using the latter mode, you would need to connect to a legitimate server for authentication before having access to play. Game cracks usually can't get pass the authentication checks on a legitimate server. The only alternative is to try to find a pirate or open server that hosts the game but those kinds of servers are hard to find and don't last long before being found out and shut down.
