Not written, localized. Localizers are to blame for the cringe internet lingo, not the original source witters. Even that one steam group that warns people about games that SBI worked on warns against this one but with the mod it's actually bearable.
Since Rising is from FLT and Hundred Heroes is from Rune, this means we have two different ids. We have to copy Rising save data into a folder with the same id as Hundred Heroes so that we can load Rising save data into Hundred Heroes.
Edit: the fix did not work for me either, I'm reading in a FAQ it checks to see if you have rising on steam (not sure if I'm understanding that or if it's accurate or not). Someone said just having the save there doesn't work.
Can anyone confirm they got the import save trick to work or not?
I do get the import save working for myself by the step above. I do still have Rising on my pc as i just finished FLT's Rising couple days ago, not sure whether that is important or not.
When the Rising can be imported, the game will show on a new game.
You will start with Rune of Wind Enchantment in inventory when the import save is successful. Also all my save file has R icon, i believe this also indicates a successful Rising import save.
and youll get an update faster by requesting it there.

I recommend playing the previous Eiyuden first to enjoy the story more.

Step 2 : Go to Rising save folder :
AppData/LocalLow/505 Games S_p_A/Eiyuden Chronicle Rising/(FLT id)
Step 3 : Copy the folder in step 2 into :
AppData/LocalLow/505 Games S_p_A/Eiyuden Chronicle Rising/(Rune id)
When done correctly, you will get a Rising save data found confirmation when starting a new game in Hundred Heroes.

I can't start the game due to the error above.
After install, you must open .iso file,
you will see "RUNE" folder, copy all files in that folder and paste to your game's dir, enjoy ;)
