For anyone else having the problem with the update. I got it to work doing the following:
Just download and install the base game without the update.
BLOCK LSPlauncher, LSPgame and LSPupdate from accessing the internet (make a new outbound rule in your Firewall settings).
You HAVE to do step 2) BEFORE you first attempt to launch the game. If you don't it will go into "update mode" and you will get the Chinese error message mentioned in previous comments. Then, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the whole game again.
Guys when I ran the launcher, it gave xinput1_4.dll error. I downloaded the dll from the internet It doesn't give that error anymore, but when I open the launcher, it closes again. What is the problem?
that is one of common problem with windows 7 the solution is to copy xinput1_3 and rename it xinput1_4.dll
i say, if you cant solve simple problem like this i recommend you to upgrade your os because windows 7 have a lot shit like this -sincerely, windows 7 user
isnt that "xinput" dll are for games that use controller?? (dont worry about this part, just mumbling why a visualnovel only game use a controller)
also whenever a game crash without any notice afterwards, usually because of antivirus or a gaming platform are running in the background like "Steam" for example.
