Dont get baited too much by negative Steam reviews yall, they mostly complain about multiplayer which imo is not even the main appeal of this collection. If you enjoyed playing it on your PS2 with your brother or friends in splitscreen around 10-20 years ago, then go get it and relive simpler times.
or get the ogs that you can still get, not worry about any the issues this cash grab made collection has, and have mods work which do what little this does re-add and then some.
The negative reviews on steam mostly pertain to the online multiplayer mode which isn't an issue here. I played both games for little over an hour and found no glitches, no bugs, no crashes. Controls are a little weird but I never played the originals so I don't know how they compare.
No its goes beyond the multiplayer which should not matter for crack any ways Its same as OGs only worse in many ways, which you can get here still.

Mods being broken is not an issue. It's a completely different game, how to player still expect mods to continue working when there's so many changes?That is just players being babies. Performance issues? What performance issues? Bugs? What bugs? Not saying they don't exist but at least go into details. The controls I can't comment on cause I never played the OG but even so I have no issues with them. The vast majority of complaints are about the online modes which yes are broken, or rather not functioning as they should cause only 3 servers(seriously that decision is baffling). Anything else people are vastly exagerating
