Ah well, I'm not really concerned about it being from Itch or not, but rather if it was the same version. I wanted to try some of the features that were blocked on the demo, so I was hoping the one here was a Patreon release.
Would be a lot more helpful if the versions were indicated up top, or if it's a demo version, rather than just "[Game Name] Download".
That's a really good idea! They used to do that some time ago actually as u can see here: https://igg-games.com/pixel-piracy-free-292314763-download.html Idk why they stopped tho, it was really useful.. Especially if u were searching for a specific release
When a game is uploaded for the first time on the site it is assumed it is whatever version corresponds to the upload date (which is, usually, the "original release" date).
The exception is if a game has been released some time ago, and the first upload on the site already has some updates includes, in which case the site will also mention the version on the title.
This is the version currently available on Steam, which is still in "Early Access", so updates are to be expected.
When, and if, they happen, you (or any other user) can go to the Game Request page and request an Update.
