@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:

I finished these 3 games in 2023 for the first time and I enjoyed them. Controls were meant to be like that, possibly because of the game's environment, which requires being skilled to do the jumps.
I've heard this complain ad nauseum from old horror games too...
The controls are so simple, this game can be played with one hand easily if the controls are mapped to the keypad. They are deliberate and precise and work just fine for the way this game was designed. No need for an alternate control scheme.
If people want "this game, only different," Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld are probably what they are looking for.
Just because the controls were meant to be like this BACK THEN it doesn't mean they can't be modernized. Which they should because let's face it, tank controls were never GOOD or precise.
There's a new modernized control scheme in it. People are just too lazy to check the game's options menu. I changed the controls, because the tank controls are not for me and I prefer to use a gamepad, so now is my time to play the three classic TRs, which I still have on my shelf as originals, in a huge cardboard box.
I'm not at a computer right now, so I can't tell. Please try for yourself. Maybe in the menus there's a control scheme to be found. I didn't look much into the game today and I never play with mouse and keyboard, honestly.

And yes, for controllers it's the START button. With a press, graphics are switchable between modernized 60+ fps and classic visuals 30 fps. It's like in the Monkey's Island Remaster. I think they nailed it with this TR Trilogy Remaster. It got all I ever asked for. It's always a plus to have a powerful PC, nevertheless.
Bruh. Some necessery moves are straight up impossible to do on modern controls. Can't backpedal, can't sidestep, have to do convoluted dance around to measure a precise jump that is easy to do on tank. Modern controls suck ass, and if you argue that they don't then go fuck yourself with a cactus.
Interesting. The Epic Store version had some improvements over the Steam and GOG versions, but now they pulled the superior Epic Store version and downgraded it, claiming it was a developer build, accidently released as a final version!? Questionable ongoings in the video games industry, lately...
Check the menus. Of course you can change from tank controls to modernized. Gamepad recommended. It plays quite well and the new controls mainly are, why I got back to these games.
Y'know... I think I would have preferred a re-release of Tomb Raider Anniversary with 2 and 3 redone in the visual style of Anniversary with remixed maps and new skins and mechanics and so forth. But that would have required a little bit of effort on the part of the devs, and everything has to be a goddamn cash grab these days.

I have install the game and did everything. When i open the game and it works but there no sound and even cutscenes there no sound. i try reinstall still doesn't fix it. The game is able to run smooth but no sound that's all. Anyone tell what to do on how to fix this
quite lazy remaster controls are still a pain in the ass even with the modern mode, worse than dark souls 1 cutscenes still the lame old ones, turok 3 may be a shitty game but at least they took the time to improve the cutscenes
