To resolve the "Steam is currently in Offline Mode" error, try creating and then logging onto Windows with a different administrator user account than your usual user account (See the third paragraph which begins as "I searched the 'Net but could only find ..." in my following comment, here). You're most welcome. If you can as a test, try installing and running this game on another machine and then try deploying the possible solution that I had offered on the other machine. There might be something with the configuration of your machine that is triggering this error. According to Soleus's comment below, the game works fine for him, so the game does work for some people. 😎👍
Make sure your antivirus hasn't deleted any files from the folder. I figure that's what might have happened in your case because the game works fine for me.
my antivirus is off :) i normally dont have any problems with games from here, it is a steam error when i launcch the game so i think i have all my files but i might miss some of the crack ?
Ah, figured that might have been it because it did trigger a false positive alert for me. Do you have Steam open while trying to launch the game? Because the online fix that is included does use your actual Steam client to play and basically simulates it and displays it as a different game.
