For those that have trouble loading their save files from the Empress version:
It seems like the save appears corrupted to the game because the account ID from the save file is different from the ID of the crack. To fix this, go to "C:\Users\Public\Documents\EMPRESS\1446780\remote". Inside is another folder named 1446780. Ignore that folder. Instead go into the folder "settings", there you will see 4 text files. Look for "user_steam_id.txt". Open it and copy the number.
Then go into the folder of the game (wherever you saved it) and look for the config file of the crack. Open it and look for "# account id". Below that is "account =". Next to "account =" is a number. Delete that number and paste the previously copied ID number from the Documents folder where that number was. Save everything. Start your game. It should hopefully work now. It did for me.

I don't see any .ini files in the game directory, was it inside the .iso? Didn't really checked it since I just immediately installed the game using the setup

No no, it's okay. Thank you for trying to help anyways, I just realized that this is MS ver. and not Steam ver. therefore not compatible with each other.
I found dodi's repack release tho, I'll be using that instead since it seem to be using steam build.
From what I saw, this one's .ISO file seems to be bigger than EMPRESS's one, so I guess it's safe to assume this has the later updates the other was missing. I doubt they'll post the same game for no reason.
Edit: Would backup my save file in case something goes wrong tho
No clue what i did wrong but it isn't able to create a new save nor would bypass if said no to creating a new save In addition upon quitting the "game" would still run in the background for quite a hefty amount of memory, seems quite sus tbh
update: game successfully saved after downloading the stuff in the support folder, so far looking for the save file location so i can port my old save in there instead of playing again still, the game remains to be active after quitting, which still is quite sus to say the least
update's update: found the save file under appdata/roaming/.1911, but this version is the microsoft one so the save files on this and EMPRESS's seem to be incompatible (as latter uses .bin), if anyone knows how to convert it would be much appreciated

The microsoft store actually popped up and I had to also update gaming services from there. Additionally I am running it as admin and manually created in/outbound firewall rules for the .exe of the game. Now it can save.
What do you mean by copy the crack? sorry cuz i have the failed save error and i cant load anything. Ive already installed all the required stuff which i already have and updated since the installation. pls heellppp :<<<

So I recommend getting the DODDI version instead as that one uses the Steam version and has all the DLCs
