i care. people have similar tastes to mine and when i read a real review from someone then i dont have to waste my time with the game. also means i can wait 5 years and come back to it to see if the game has improved or not.

i dont think you understand. sometimes one review is all i need to decide if a game will be enjoyable for me or not. sometimes i dont care and just try it out anyways or come back to it years later. i dont care because its all the same to me. i dont even like these sort of games, but thats not the point. the point is that by reading someones review especially ones that are uber specific about certain key things helps. it helps people decide whether or not they want to play it or not. oh, a game has a female protagonist? wont play it. oh, the game has shitty optimization on higher end rigs but better on lower end rigs? wont play it. oh, game has ron pearlman as a voice actor? sold, will play it. examples but you get the point. reviews matter. especially ones that people take the time to write out.
