Guys i found the current last version working in another website even with mods on (which i had problems with before even when normal game works) idk if I get banned for saying the website name but lets just say its (what you need to destroy in league of legends to win) + games. tried and tested, if this comment doesn't get deleted cause I said a competitors' name you are welcome :)
works just fine with radmin vpn (delete hamachi from the world). My question is, since we can only play in offline mode is there a way to play online chars. like wortox or woodie? I'm pretty sure they're already in the game files but it doesn't let you play as them
why is it stuck on logging in when i try to open the game online? what should i do i didn't click the play offline cuz i think i won't be able to play with a friend offline and someone said to just click play offline so tried that but when the logging in loading starts i can't click play offline nor cancel anymore?

Appears ALL current versions, on ALL download sites, are NOT working. All start a window and then just close. I was able to find (1) older version (490729) from 12/18/2021 from anther site (NOT SURE IF IM ALLOWED TO SAY) that is still working. Something changed in these cracked versions, probably has to do with the initial [Logging in ...] screen. If you do NOT very quickly click the [Play Offline] button option, that screen will just sit there, and the game will NOT load. You have to within a second or two click the [Play Offline] button in order for the game to load. If I remember correctly, it had been like that for some time. So something MUST have changed in the past few months, that is not allowing the initial [Logging in...] screen to even appear.
I was able to play the game before with older version and the same problem for the new version, the only way was to download steam then open steam, leave the steam program or just minimize it then oepn DST but idk if it still works.

Yes I just downloaded it and version (500267) does NOT work. With both versions, afer clicking on the .exe, a window starts for a few seconds with a spinning cursor, then the window justs goes away. I have no idea what changed and why these newest/latest versions are not running.....

what's up with that "cluster" thing? I read somewhere that i have to generate a cluster token with a command in the console while in the menu of the game, however, after writing the command in the console and lookingin the folder where it should ve created the cluster token, it only shows me the client save and sae of the servers i have hosted. do you have any idea of what should i do?
Ok, If Hamachi is a private connection then we skip this step. Adjust the hamachi network to 1 Interface Metric. Turn off the firewall. The DST folder Fix Repair contains a bin folder, copy and paste it into the bin folder of the DST game. After the paste is done in the game => bin directory, search for SSELauncher.exe, click that will see "CoopLand" rename your name, then click PLAYGAMES, to run the game.
Your gf should try to use the console and type c_connect("your ipv4") from hamachi and it should work, or atleast that's what i do to play with someone on the older version of the game.
You see go to the gear settings, get the target button in Game Path, click on it and find the file dontstarve_steam.exe. Section "Make SmartSteamEmu.ini File" click the "create" button click save to save. Switching to the "Settings" tab shows the PersonaName entry changed to your name. And the "Language" section changes to "English" and press SAVE. Find SmartSteamLoader to play game. You both do it.

ok dude. so. my gf and i are connected through a hamachi private server or whatever you call it. i did everything you said about that folder, she did too. i select host game, and start the server, and she still doesen t see it in her game, my question is, what can i do? do i have not to change the server s name or? help, we ve been trying for like 2 days now and im starting to freak out
i had some issues while opening the game, btw i fixed it. I'm using Hamachi to play the game with friends and it's working, I just had to download a fix then i put it into the game's folder. if you're having these issues reply this and i'll try to help ya.
honestly does any know how to go offline LAN with the new version 342121? this version uses goldberg emu instead of the OG steam emu of older version. It seems it has problem with hamachi I just couldn't get it to work, but older version works just fine. if anyone has idea get it to work it would be immense help.
Here I suspect the issue has to do with goldberg emu only allow certain ip address using the LAN: All ips except these ranges are blocked: 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 127.0.0.0 - 127.255.255.255 169.254.0.0 - 169.254.255.255 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 224.0.0.0 - 255.255.255.255 Since Hamachi uses 25.0.0.0 so it's not included in this steam emu, solution: either uses vpn that uses those address or report to goldberg about the issue
i downloaded this and installed Island Adventures mod + Shipwrecked Characters mod and it works awesome , now we will just have to wait for IGG-GAMES to upload a version that has a Return of Them update
Usually you download the mods using a steam mod downloader (like this: http://steamworkshop.download/ ) then place it in the mod folder somewhere. (Yes, I have already made this comment)
it's on beta, so if u don't have the game on steam you have to wait until it's released but don't worry it will be a free update just like the "forge" one.
