First of all, you don't need to run it through Steam. Just launch Steam and exit to leave only Steam icon in the taskbar. My controller is XBOX Series X, I don't know if it works with other controllers. Leave keyboard input in the game settings and everything will work.
Hey folks, just posting here cause its the end of the year, have no interest in this game. Was wondering what the big release this year was? Baldur's Gate? Starfield? Was there one? I played mostly Nioh2, a game from like 3 years ago...
BG3 for sure Starfield is shit Cyberpunk recieved an update Dave the Diver is the hottest indie game Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew , from the makers of Desperados 3 Remnant 2 TEVI, this rabi ribi 2 essentially Darkest Dungeon II, very different from DD1
That's pretty much the biggest games of the year. But between you and me, Nioh 2 is such a masterpiece, that if it's the only game you've played this year you haven't missed much IMO ð
BG3 will be remembered as a generational cult classic, but to be fair, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, being a CRPG and all.
If I were to add one AAA game to list, it'd be Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. It's the next game from the makers of Nioh 2. They have changed quite a lot from Nioh 2 and its systems aren't as intricate. It's sitting on "mixed" on Steam but mostly due to poor PC performance.
Also, if you can afford Game pass, in my experience, Lies of P was a game that Souls enjoyers should not miss. It ruined Souls games for me ð (if you get Game pass, you get the bonus of Hi-Fi Rush as well) If not, I'm sure their Denuvo will be removed sometime in the future.
And, 2 indie games I really liked: First, Blasphemous 2. Enjoyed it more than the prequel. Second, which is my personal indie game of the year, Dredge. A fantastic concise experience.
Also, would've love to have the time to play Viewfinder, Pizza Tower and Sea of Stars, but alas. They are in my backlog.
I know how to get the controller working. Go on Steam. Settings. Controller. You need to enable Xbox controller and then you need to install the advanced driver thing. Reset Steam and it should work.
