This game was one of the most unfortunate games of 2023.
Here's why IMO:

This is a game ass game. Very good visuals, fast-paced monkey-brain-friendly FPS magic shooter, and ... shall we say, a serviceable plot and characters (albeit at times cringy).
No real red flags here. No online only stuff, no in-game purchases crap and no NFTs 😅

Any other year it would've gotten its due time under the sun, but this year was too stacked with extraordinary games for a 7 out of 10 to shine.

The other thing that didn't help it at launch was the unbelievable unoptimized state it was released in performance-wise.
If you had a +3080 you'd have been totally fine. Anything below that was a night and day difference. Huge frame drops and stutters. That 1070 minimum requirement was an absolute lie.
But it's been a while, and this version might've fixed all that. I have no idea.

So in short, in the words of comrade Anatoly Dyatlov, "Not great, not terrible."
