I was being serious. This year there were a ton of boomer shooters released, both new ones and upgraded versions of old ones. And this is yet another one.
Like the old saying from "Field of Dreams" goes, "If you make it, they will come". As long as there's a strong enough fan base for this genre of games, devs will continue to create "new" games to try to satisfy those fans' needs. Many of us Gen X'ers remember playing this genre of games back in the late '80s, the '90s and even in the early Millennium. It's about nostalgia and also wanting to see new content while experiencing the process. 😎👍
I agree. Some are these: CULTIC. Dread Templar. Forgive Me Father and Forgive Me Father 2. Hell Denizen. Herald of Havoc. Prodeus. REAVER. RobotCop: Rogue City. Severed Steel. SPRAWL. SUFFER and SUFFER 2. Supplice. TICKDOWN. Trepang2. ULTRAKILL. Warhammer 40000: Boltgun. Zortch.
Rogue City isn't a boomer shooter as it's graphics and gameplay are too modern. Also I didn't know about Forgive Me Father, definitely checking that one out
