I have the same issue currently. This is to do with the game not working with some headsets/controllers. I am using quest 2 with link. Rebinding the buttons in steamvr should work however I had an issue where I couldn't save the new bindings.
I try to play with my quest 2 but te TP button doesn't work, someone else have this problem? That happened yesterday, now te game doesn't register the buttons I touch
easy i had that but its fixed: you need to enter the game in steam vr and in the vr menu there is controller binding enter it(connect cable to pc first) then you will have an option to do a costume binding (ill send a link from the company fixing it and putting the right binding settings https://www.steelwoolstudios.com/announcements/controller-input-workaround-for-help-wanted-2
is there a way to lower the graphics settings in game? because i have a rtx 3050 laptop and i dont think that meets the minimum requirements and its so laggy and unplayable pls...
optimize in nvidia controll panel (you could optimize the image settings, i have it on balence since I dont see much of a difference betwen quality and balence). I too have a laptop with a rtx 3050 with a intel core i7 11th gen, it may be your cpu because it runs fine on my pc. make sure your graphics drivers are updated because it slows down your pc a whole lot if they are not updated.

Right click on the game->Click Properties->Paste '-hmd=SteamVR' into the launch options.
