Hey guys, just downloaded v2.00.73617 & All DLCs on a new computer and did the .iso launcher and had it copy the rune folder automatically, works perfectly on my other computer but it now launches steam and says "no license", is the new computer the issue? Anyone else having a problem with this? Thank you!
Thanks for the speedy reply! I have tried disabling windows defender and turning my internet off. However still the same issue launching steam and mentioning the no license issue. Thanks for your help though!
Yes, inside the plugins folder and replaced the original steam api files. I should note, with the above download ((v2.00.73617 & All DLCs)), it does not require any of this and is just download, unzip and play from the .exe, even that did not work. I just used a month old download from my other computer here to see if that works. I also transferred an already extracted and setup file from my other computer and still somehow that was causing the same error. So I am stuck aha
Ah i see, i just tried downloading again, Darkest.Dungeon.II.v2.00.73617.rar file. Just unzip and play, yes, it works from my side.
Not sure why it doesn't work on your current PC, but with the "steam starts when launching the game" error, it's definitely the crack file that was deleted. Maybe AV still silently deletes it, i still see that sometimes on my side lol :D.
Try going back to AV, set the folder containing the Darkest.Dungeon.II.v2.00.73617.rar file to "except". Then unzip this file again, i guess it will work.
Tried those exlcusions in windows defender, no luck. I've tried another game darkest dungeon 1 and no issues there. I believe I may have messed something up, trying to launch this game darkest dungeon 2 before I installed steam onto this computer. But unsure tbh, thanks regardless :)
Because you still not crack it before start game. After install, you must open .iso file, you will see "RUNE" folder, copy all files in that folder and paste to your game's dir, enjoy ;)
