When I launch the game sometimes it just freezes in the Bandai namaco screen or when it tells me to press any button it doesnt work and after I press three times the game freezes. I didnt even get to play it yet help plz

I've installed every update manually and even the main menu shows me that ashes of ariandel is installed but the npc needed to start the dlc just dosen't show up. Do anybody have this kind of problem and or a solution for it?
If you are updating make sure you start from v1.04 > v1.05> v1.06 >v1.07 >v1.08 and then the update ariandel. Make sure as well that you patch the crack for respective updates.

Ok so for all of you who are having trouble I did it this way and it worked for me. I downloaded all the files from google drive I then proceeded to setup the game (which takes a little bit) and made sure to put it in a folder I new i could find after it was done. I installed the 1.07 patch and then copied all the things into the crack file only into the game file and then voila... hope this helps....

Guys, DO NOT install the 1.09 patch. I've noticed that it crashed some NPC invasions, like Yellowfinger Heysel and Knightslayer Tsorig. If you want to get particular items like me - do not install it and play on the older 1.08.

You can't have Patch v1.04 installed. The 1.05 patch searches for the MD5 values of the original, unpatched 1.03 version. Try reinstalling and then running the v1.05 patch.

How you do it is you install the game, open codex from the iso copy the files, drop them in the dark souls III folder (wherever you put it) then get the open the patch and copy them into the Dark Souls III folder again. Then use the new exe from the codex to run it everytime.

My brother got me to get it, so I came here to IGG (Always the first step haha) and downloaded it. In my case (I have Win7): C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsIII\0110000100000666 AppData is a folder that´s normally hidden. Maybe you have to make it visible first.
Another way is by going to "C:/Users/YOUR USERNAME/Appdata" if there is no folder there named like that, go to "Organise" in teh upper left corner of your window tab and tap "settings for folders and search" or something ike that (I use Greek Windows. There, a window will appear with three tabs. Tap the second one called "View" or something and go down and search for "Enable hidden folders" or something of the sort. Click apply and you should see the appdata folder appearing through the fadeout. Glad to help!

Well, you're wrong. I've had zero issues running it at high settings on my laptop. Frame rate's only ever dipped when there's been a TON of stuff happening on screen. Don't know what else to tell you, but my laptop handles games great.

My shitty laptop (i use it for work) can even run dark souls, i understand that, but it simply cant be compared with a pc, you just said your laptop runs everything on ultra smoothly, thats just a lie, because every laptop overheath and also has onboard issues (also some games dont support onboard making it even worse) you can say it runs great, but its not like running ultra in pc, of course you will find lag spikes, even the best laptop faces this

For all of you who doesn't get it to work and goes to the steam page. Do this.. Put the crack from the .iso file in your darksouls folder (where game is located) and then also put the other crack that's named "CRACK FIXED NETWORK" in the same folder
Hard to see you cant do a copy/paste .. when you install the game check the "copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir" box and the crack will install in same time that the game.. so reinstall
You don't copy the folder names CRACK, you copy whatever is INDISE the crack folder in the root directory of the game. else you might have an anti-viruS problem

Huh. Well, all I can suggest is double check to see if you have the minimum requirements and if you do, try running again in Windowed mode. For whatever reason, Fullscreen mode makes the game a bit wonky.

To give the game credit, I doubt that it really expects anyone to even USE the keyboard and mouse. This is a game that is definitely played with a controller, in my opinion.
Did you make sure to copy BOTH the Fixed Network crack AND the crack found in the .iso file? Also, make sure your anti-virus isn't picking up anything (mine tends to go after the steam.api and steam.dll files) and try running as Administrator.
It does the same for me, just keeps taking me to the steam page. i've copied the fixed network crack [which I'm assuming is the file titled CRACK] and whatever dll files that's in the iso. I'm still just going to the steam page. -_-

a friend get the same config , He can play it in normal setting with 40-50 fps, low setting I think must do the 60 or just try, It's free .. just have to be patient during download
It playble at 800x600 20+ fps even max setting or low setting has same frame rate but had drop screen rez to 800x600 to get game to run at playble frame rate.
