================= To change to english (in game) First Screen (EULA): Hit the top tile, then hit the back button to return to the first screen. Then choose the right tile to agree (top=confirm, left=disagree, right=agree). Main Screen: Go Down x3 to select the 4th of 6 tiles (options). Options Screen: Select the first tile to go to the Languages screen. Languages Screen: Select top tile for english.

For those with DS4/5 controllers, add the launcher as a non steam game, turn steam to offline mode, and launch the launcher via steam's big picture mode. When you are in the menus go to options and change controller settings to display the buttons you want to see and launch game.
There are mods to force it to 1080p and beyond, check the steam forums.
And don't mind the idiots who say the game's running 30fps. It's been consistently 60dps for me even at Groznigrad. tested on a 1060 and 3060. Idiots saying it's 30 are referring to people who are moaning about MGS1's framerate being tied to 30.
Wait for Volume 2, that will bring MGS4. As for your second question Subsistence changes the camera to a third-person view (with the option to revert back to the original overhead view) and that's about it as far as changes go
The Metal Gear Solid website has added a placeholder for MGS4 which has lead many to believe the game will come out in the second collection.
However, as you mentioned, PS3 was a weird creature and porting it would be a big challenge at the hands of the most caring studios, let alone Konami. Also, reportedly the game has a good deal of licensing issues which is usually the unsolvable problem in porting and such content get deleted in the end as it happened to GTA re-releases.
So yeah, I'm not optimistic. And I wonder once (if) Konami releases MGS4's port people would wish they hadn't.
That said, the RPCS3 emulator runs MGS4 almost perfectly. I remember playing it 4~5 years ago and it was very very decent.

Full of shit, clearly didn't play it. While yes it is stuck on 720p, a mod is available to force it to 1080 and beyond. And mine has been playing 60fps consistently. Actually try it before posting retard.
