ive never actully played a game such as this or any game like it honesty but this is a masterpiece. the story telling, the choices, the fact of the content is disturbing yet engaging enough to continue on. aiming to purchase to support the dev in hopes he finishes the 3rd and 4th episodes. (7 bucks on steam in dec 2023)
But seriously, maybe this will be a good game for you to follow this game while you're waiting for its "final" release. Just add it to your Steam Wishlist and then forget about it. When updates occur, just read about or ignore them in Steam until the update with the announcement that the game has been made "final" comes out (Adding a game to your Steam Wishlist guarantees that you will receive notifications of updates in your email). Then you can download this game in its final version sometime around the time of that awaited announcement (You know how things work in the Scene and P2P). What have you got to lose anyway?
I'm using an old ATI/AMD Radeon HD 5670 graphics card. It can't run "Starfield" with its limited bandwith of only 64.00 GB/s. Even if the devs optimized their game, my card still wouldn't be able to handle it decently. My machine is long due for an upgrade but I can't afford the parts right now.

I would prefer a buy a new instead of a used part as well, if money were no object but I wouldn't get the absolute latest, best part as it still usually means paying the max. Besides, this year's latest, best graphics card will be replaced by another more "latest, best" graphics card next year! It's an unending cycle.
Actually, I try to opt for "The next best card" (e.g. - An earlier year's model or predecessor which the latest card has already succeeded), used on eBay whether in an auction or a "best offer". There usually is a noticeable difference in price between the two and sometimes the performance is negligible. In that way, I can save a considerable amount of money and almost get the same performance of the latest, best card if I'm lucky (Always so research before buying a big ticket upgrade item like a graphics card).
