Great game but you have to give it at least 4-5 tries(to understand the mechanics at least),and then you could be peasantly surprised how much fun it is
I would say S - Aeterna playing before Noctis,because Aeterna is the prequel to noctis, but noctis is a metroidvania(light rpg,too). I recommend playing Summum Aeterna(if you like rogue-lites)before Noctisπ€
