" It’s entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination. "

I'm gonna use this next time I get a commission. "It's a blank page for a reason. It's fueled by your imagination. Adding a picture on it would be a disservice to you!"

Bruh, it's game book. Are you crying over books not having pictures too?

Out of all CoG games this one is strong 2.5 out of 5.

Sudden enslavement right at the start, with our agency being taken over, is a bad start for a choice game: usually writers are able to force you to follow the story without making it so blatantly obvious. It wasn't even needed narrative-wise, just a shitty writing.

Whole story tries to be both serious and funny and manages to suck at both. Jokes mostly fall flat, and when it tries to be 'there are serious matters at stake, death and all' it fails because we have ANTI CARB GANG going around and necromantic powers used in making bread, or us killing brownie elves slowly to make our cooking tastier.

You welcome to check it yourself, but I recommend not wasting your time with this one. I've requiested the upload and I immensely regret it now.

Would be better if you were building a harem of bakers to churn your cum into butter while you bread the women.

Your comment seems to showcase more about yourself and your line of thinking than the person you're replying to.

Might want to rethink your way of thinking.

Would be better if it was on par of actual quality titles from CoG, like Stars Arisen or Fallen Hero: Retribution actually. Now those are huge novels that are great to play.

This is a fairly alright entry in the library of Choice of... games. The writing itself is definitely above average, the humor is done well and overall it's a very novel idea.

The main problem I see is that there is clearly 1 route that is what the authors had in mind and thus managed to bring to life best: romancing the mistress and either being a jerk or nice. The other romance routes feel a bit off by comparison especially (but also generally more or less like an afterthought) and meandering between choices as far as being (un)kind goes ends up making the story itself feel a bit all over the place.

The secondary concern I had with the game is how the start of the game already mentioned by other people here doesn't work well in a CYOA game, so unless one decides the mistress is who they wanna get it on with, her invading the protagonist's life suddenly isn't very humorous anymore but instead takes away the much needed player agency.
