This game used to be in English when I downloaded it before. It's in German now. Why? I mean, I'm learning German so this can be useful to me I guess. But why changed?
It's in German? I've tried looking up other places to download the english version but they're all fake, but this one is in German and i don't understand german at all. Does anyone have an english version?
Ok, I tried installing it. Yet, it didn't work. I followed all the instructions from earlier comments. I downloaded the .rar file and extracted it to my desktop, then I went to find a 2.00 patch. (Of which I did) and it told me to MANUALLY choose the installation folder, so I chose the folder I extracted on my desktop, and yet it doesn't work. HELP PLZ
steam_api.dll keeps on disappearing whenever i start the game, then an error message appears saying that steam_api.dll is missing...when i replace the missing file with a copied steam_api.dll and launch the game, it takes me to the steam store page instead...help! X(
Hi, yeah I know I answer some years later sorry XD I think the reason the steam_api.dll disappear is cause of your antivirus. The antivirus tends to delete this file cause it thinks that it's a virus. Reinstall the game to have the game with the file here and disable your antivirus or make sure that you're antivirus allow the file.
Do NOT run it. If you accidentally do, do NOT install the drivers that it will ask.
Locate the 2.00 patch on the Internet.
Download it.
Install it.
Play. The patch updates a ton of bugs and glitches but also disables the SF protection. Why is this important? Starforce under WIn 10 - the early versions of it - are extremely incompatible with the new OS.
If you installed the game and you want to launch it, you get something that says you should download / install .... ( dont know what the name was) first to play this game... do NOT click yes... I did and my laptop shut down and couldn get it to start up anymore not even in safe mode or with system back up... luckily i had a configuration back up!! i dont know if this has to do with only my laptop, but just a warning.

you will need deamoon tool , if you use ultra iso : chang .mdf to .iso, mount it and install like usual, but when lauch the game it ask you to install software, DON'T do it, the people above said about it, good luck
