is anyone experiencing, or knows what to do when, game crashes? seems to happen when going into unexplored areas or when near fuel pumps. previous versions worked fine...
aye, by virtue of having fresh win re-install since last time i played, and i didnt pull any old backups for this back. plus i also restarted playthrough after deleting save/profile folder and reinstalling, didnt help.
yeah.... I don't know what else to suggest then. It sounded to me like you have conflicting files that the game is trying to pull.
Oh wait, maybe you need to update your .NET Frameworks? You did a clean reinstall, and I know that those won't reinstall your .NET Frameworks (which are used in quite a number of games).
By the way, if the copy of this game on IGG here is pulled off Steam, it won't install those for you. You might have to look elsewhere... like a certain site that torrents "free" GOG games. (This game is on GOG too, by the way, and that site pirate-uploads those; I won't give you a direct link though - Fight Club rules.)
GOG generally offers self-contained installer packages - no guarantees though.

just in case, i did reinstall framework, the whole game, and the new update, now it seems to be working ^^
