Has anyone found a fix for the save games? I can't really play this properly if I can't even save the game. Thanks.

I just did what you told us to do with that crack fix. But I didn't changed the SmartSteamEmu.ini file. I only copy and pasted the crack fix files into the game folder :D
Edit: My SmartSteamEmu.ini file contains following line : #StartIn = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Empires II HD
Maybe it works if you change it back to it's previous direction. All in one: Downloaded the fix, copy&pasted everything into the game folder and started the game. Worked like a charm :)
Edit 2: I found the save game location within the Steam_api.ini

First I thought it would be in my documents but there is only the settings.ini ... It has to be in a hidden folder like the one for the RLD! games otherwise it's just in the game folder
Edit: Just found the save game folder. It's in %appdata%/steam/CODEX :D

Well I have no problems. I played a while, saved my game and restarted the whole game. It loads my save perfectly. I don't know a answer why tho :o

So far I've searched the .ini and it tells just where the saving dir will be. I modified the StoragePath adding this line just before the RemoteStoragePath:
StoragePath = C:\Programs\SaveDir
I changed the path just to see if that was the problem, now the saving files are in C:\Programs\SaveDir but the game doesn't find them anyway. I guess the problem is in the code itself, may be there was a conflict due to the fact the game is in Alpha and something screwed up, I don't know. Anyway, thanks for your support dude :D I'll keep trying things, if I achieve something I'll post here

Damn it you are faster then me I was about to write it (for those interested I'm the one who made this fix but I wasn't sure if it worked) anyway got this featured until next version ;)
