If you cant find the installer, well there's no actually an installer.

1. You just need to extract the .7z files including data, demo, sound and the_rest.
2. After you extract, open setup.reg with notepad.
3. Replace the line [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Konami\SILENT HILL 4\1.00.000] with [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Konami\SILENT HILL 4\1.00.000]
4. Save.
5. Double click the setup.reg file again and click YES!
6. Enjoy!!

just downloaded this, unfortunately the exe file for silent hill 4 disappeared without a trace, anyone how to fix this?

It's a little annoying that the setup is even in Russian and gives you a section that asks about optimization and gives you different method types...but you'd never know if you didn't either know Russian or know how to get it translated right there.

i play it on ps 2 and now try in pc

htf do ya change resolution? its stuck on 800x600 is there a fix? download? coz this res is horrible

i downloaded the game but the language was russian even in the game only russian and japanese.... is there any way of changing it i tried through the regedit but no hope tried looking on google no hope as well any ideas on how to fix this? ( this is the new edition)

For whatever reason, I couldn't open the "settings" which is configpatch.exe in the files (doesn't work either) or "cheats" , it would give an error message, and whenver I'd launch the game it would just zooms into my wallpaper and I'd have to alt-tab to close the game but if I were to select the tab it'd show the konami logo... hmmm :P

Finally a game in Russian, my gf now uses my computer more.
