Can anyone help? Running the game properly takes 10-20 times on regular, sometimes with luck it will run after 2-3 tries. The game will crash sometimes right away, sometimes during intro screen, sometimes during loading and sometimes just freeze randomly. If I minimize the window and go back it will crash and tell me that the pin file couldn't be located. Anyone know what to do?
Can someone upload the new dlc + it's patches? The first version (Build 19970) of the dlc has SO MANY BUGS it can barely be played without the patch. For example, the fanatic drains your heroes health on the stake in 1 turn.
Downloading in parts because the sites they use have a total of 990mb space per file or so. So that's about 900mb a part. If you want it in 1 file check out there torrent site.
yes...except that it has stress system, hero keeps dying but you can recruit more, almost unkillable boss, high stress on hero can also cause them unable to be sent out of town, high lvl hero doesn't go to a lower lvl quest (arrogant), limited amount of supply can be brought, everything you found lying around the road may either poison/cut/curse you unless you used an item on them...tbh this game is not about challenging its more of testing your luck...because its a bit unfair sometimes

Steam official version is 13870, this is 13881, so this version is the latest versione and I don't know how can it be that they got this version before Steam even released it, but they did. Enjoy :)
Hello, does anyone know where the saves are stored in build 13850/13881? I can't find the saves. Normally on Steam they are in Documents, but if the game's cracked, the destination folder changes.

Always install frameworks, most all games come with a specific framework to install, Important to install that first, also, try running as admin. Also make sure your pc has enough RAM to run it or the game will not start up and/or may crash. To view your RAM, goto Control Panel - System & Security - System. There are ways to free up Ram as well, Check out some youtube videos if you have any problems.
cool i made it work by downloading the game from google drive, deleted all files connected to darkest dungeon from c:/users and now it works flawlessly

Go to the folder which the game was installed in. The you'll find a folder called "3DMGAME", thats where yours saves are. Copy paste that folder into the new version. Have fun.
second answer because i seen the stuff "deeper" the "positives" are dues to : open GL and Autoit . They are reported as virus 99% of the time even if they are not. it could be virus BUT the game use thoses to be plyable so its not something added to infect us. The file is safe
That's not a false positive, there has been false positives since long ago with much older versions, but since a few versions ago, the scans found out something extra that wasnt there in previous ones, and reports started to pop up in the comments of those updates from kickasstorrents. Apparently some people were saying that since they installed this or that version of the game their browsers were filled with popups. So, the conclusion for me is, ok, it may be a false positive, but there are strong indications that it's not, or at least in this exact version, and perhaps a few others. (I have commented what i have seen, judge for yourselves)

So where are now save game files stored ? Those in my documents/darkest does nothing at all... I cant backup my saves, nor i can restore ones from previous build...
The new build (9706 and this 9728) are saving in a different location (the game enabled Steam Cloud). So, even though the game still continues from where you left on previous builds, you can't use the same save file of build 9706 into 9728. Which means that in future updates you won't be able to start from where you were in this last build. Any suggestions?
i dl the game and crack it step 3 but the game crashes the moment i try to run the game(black screen and mesage saying :darkest.exe stoped working)any help for the problem would be gr8 tnx :)
The same problem happens to me. The Build 9007 from this same page still works perfectly for me but the new builds after that don't seem to have their crack working any more. I extracted the game with my antivirus off and it still sent me to Steam when I try to run the game and I also did just like Ricardo recommended (to copy and replace the _windows folder from the Build 9007 to the 9138) and even though the game starts it crashes when you try to see the characters profiles. Please fix the crack and thank you IGG for posting such a great game for all to enjoy.

Hey uh i downloaded it but i was not able to find the cracked folder and when i tried to open the application it just took me to the steam page. please help I love this game and I am not able to play on the previous version that i obtained (from this website).
You should turn off your anti virus before extract. This game dont need crack, only extract and play, Maybe it deleted cracked files when extracting :D

copy and paste the _windows folder, from the crack folder you downloaded, and paste it into the game folder. You'll be asked to merge the folders do it. Then copy and replace any and all files it asks you to. You are now ready to open the game :D
