Hi there, i just got into this website to download the game called Kindred Spirits and unfortunately the game does not work when i run it. I downloaded the file from the only Kindred Spirits from the game list. First off, my intro for the game is pitch black. The sound plays but no cinematics or anything. (It seems for some reason the program cannot access the .mpg files in mov) Also i seem unable to load any of my saves. I can't switch between the pages without it crashing. Finally, my game crashes at the end of the 'First Time' story (does the program being unable to access mov file have something to do with this?). I am using the latest version of wine, and I have yet to encounter problems with any of the other games i have been playing from this website (like undertale and boi). Is there any way that you (or anyone else) could send me a completed save file so that I can skip the first time story and continue with the extra scenes in november? It would be really appreciated if anyone could do this.
SOLVED So if you are planning to play this on mac, you need to install the latest wine version (currently 1.9.7) from winehq itself, rather than from winebottler. https://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX Just follow the steps on this, it's really easy.

If you didn't know, Kindred Spirits on the roof is the first steam game not to censure any of the sexual scenes. That's why people follow it all along.
did you take the application out of the folder? It will only work in the folder but you can right click the application and make a short cut that u can put on your desktop..
Thank you but that wasnt it. The problem was that if you delete any files (I deleted the url files that are normally unnecessary) the "crack" from IGG doesnt work and this error will show up. Pretty lame if you ask me...
