when it comes to games ith sequals which have a a lot of years in btw release i always recommend playing older games first mainly because of the gameplay and visuals playing older ones later may feel outdated
If you like Zelda, give this game a try. I think it's the closest thing there is on PC at least that I've seen. In fact, even many sounds are alike. It's not as good as a Zelda logically but the game is good and it works as a substitute. It's well done and it's fun with good mechanics.
