Is it poorly optimized??? because I have an Evga Geforce 3060 RTX video card with 12Gb of ram and 16 GB of ram... and I'm on the part of what seems to be an old base called Xray and it's going at 30 fps but it doesn't go up. Without mentioning the very crazy recipes, I mean with the Limestone Brick ask for 500 stones to make 1 Limestone Brick. The same with 2 other recipes that ask for 100 ingredients and give you 1 circuit. There is no justification in any way.
game isn't broken, the preset configuration just has gamma at 0, increase the gamma in the config and you should be fine, also recomend increase the camera sensibility
