Still the game is pretty cool. Story isn't extraordinary but characters are nice and situation are funny. Recommend the game even if you won't be amazed by the story.

Most games get boring after a while unless you like a certain mechanic and thats different for eveyone. I remember playing the 1st one and having a blast and i didnt care that i had to repeat missions. The one thing i look for in games like this is how creative you can get with the weapon system. If its shit, them im not going to like the game.
Eh, kind of. There are certain games I never get bored with no matter how repetitive they are because they're fun to me, the Warriors games being the biggest example. But Dead Island 2...it's a combination of the zombie theme being overused, the story not being interesting and the characters being bland cookie cutter molds. As for the weapons...yeah there's not a ton of creative things you can do with them. The mods is literally just add elemental damage or make them hit harder.

I wasn't implying my experience would be the same for other people, was just giving my two cents on it really. First person games are...weird for me. Unless you have a really gripping story like Bioshock I'l end up bored even if the gameplay is good. And here, well, you can only dropkick a zombie a certain amount of times before you get bored of it.

Thanks! I got a few systems. I kind of collect, never sell hardware I once bought. A 4080 or 4070 Ti Super should be sufficient to run it maxed out and at 1440p - 2160p.

I always lock my fps to 60 and play on a 50" TV with an XB Series controller. It's a fantastic combination of PC gaming power and console gaming comfort. On other systems, I play games that require mouse & keyboard (XCOM, Homeworld etc.).
characters are all fuckin vampires. no wonder there immune lmao. (why) do the zombies and flashlight show in mirrors, but not the character lol not finished the game yet. just wondering where the reflection is for the characters of the story.
It's because the game was finished and put out just because they felt they needed to. Im contemplating not even finishing it. The game is so void. You are soft locked behind weapons which i hate when they do that. The characaters are like a joke of what millenials are and the status effects are just so stupid. The only thing I thought was neat was that the whole body of the zombies are destructive. so you can basically dismember and melt them away until its just their ribcage and pelvis plus the nubs of appendages.
It's a really fun game, waaay more entertaining than Dying Light 2. It is fairly well-optimized and can look very good too, granted you have the hardware to run it. Easily has the best zombie damage visuals ever.
The Steam release is live (April 22th 2024), but Denuvo is still integrated and also the Steam version still requires an Epic account. It's easier to buy it at this point, but I'd rather get a GOG version that no one can take away later, like Ubisoft likes to do it.
i just downloaded this a few days ago, without any issues. so re download part one from megaup as thats really the only one i use since its just as fast as google drive was.
Because you still not crack it before start game. After install, you must open .iso file, you will see "EMPRESS" folder, copy all files in that folder and paste to your game's dir, enjoy ;)
right click the game on your desktop shortcut, click "open file location" or whatever its called, leave THAT PAGE OPEN! then take the "crack" contents (most the time the entire folder) but not always, so sometimes just the shit inside the crack folder, and DRAG OR COPY IT ALL over to where you opened that MAIN directory of the game! nothing goes into documents that you need messing with. (your game saves and shit go there) so best not mess with it!

There is no "best character" it all depends on your play style. Some characters are best at sneaking, some characters are best at blocking, some are faster. Just look at the stats when picking the character and the abilities they start with and see which one works best for you.
game works but holy shift, do not do what i did, namely don't pour water everywhere there is blood to try and clean the floor, it will eventually hard crash your computer and delete all the save files. IDK if there was more damage but that was enough for me to say its not worth it. Also gameplay lacks impact, if you wanna mess around with zombies then just get dying light, at least in that game your kicks matter more and zombies don't sprint at you.
