The uncensored "Anime vs Evil: Apocalypse - Hentai Edition DLC" free DLC is not included with this game but great news everybody, I already found it!!! The uncensored DLC can be downloaded here. Just download and move the (1KB) downloaded ".pak" file into the installed game's root folder and then run the game to access all of the uncensored parts! Enjoy! 😎
FYI, for those that are interested - The free DLC file is actually a text file with a ".pak" file extension. If you open it up with Notepad you can see its contents: So in truth, the uncensored content was already built-into the game itself! It just need that little text file to unlock it! IMHO, that's very clever and very kind and generous of those Axyos devs as it extremely minimizes any potential installation problems for the uncensored DLC and provides an alternate method for downloading the DLC if you don't have a Steam account (They could have just left it as a Steam exclusive download, if they wanted to do so. Cheers [A big Thank You~!] to them for their kindness and generosity)! 😎👍
What is good for one player might not be good for another, which is fine. The best way to judge whether this TPS game is good for you is for you to try it out yourself. Personally, I enjoy having fun with the novelty of seeing uncensored, half-naked anime girls running around while trying to "Shoot the shit" out of goofy looking, evil characters. It's "kitsch" that has a special appeal to some people. This game is much like C.M. Coolidge's famous 1903 painting "A friend in need" which depicts dogs playing Poker, in that it's unrealistic, yet cute and charming in its own special way.
TL;DR: Mediocre as an action zombie killing game and lacking as an ero game for coomers. It's free here so fuck what I say and try for yourself!
Damn after what Rob posted I had to try it out. I knew it was going to be jank but I can deal with that. I like these types of games too. Eraser Work 2 being one of my favorites in this sort of genre. Holy shit was it worse than I could have ever imagined. First, the story mode starts with an unskippable text-to-speech convo between two characters. You get dropped right into the world which is cool but if you get killed you have to REWATCH that shit intro all over again. I was unable to find a skip button after pressing every button on my controller and keyboard. That and the way the camera does not sit quite right. You can adjust how it's oriented but the reticle is lower to the bottom of the screen than it should be. So just aiming straight the camera is all out of wack. This and other small details kinda ruins it for me. The open world aspect is cool but the low polygon assets of the anime characters looks off compared to the game world. If this shit was no more than 5 dollars then it would not be a big deal. These fuckers want 25 BUCKS! It's on sale but even the sale price is too damn much!
I'm sure that some Steam user who feels the same as you about the intro part being repeated will post a complaint in a page inside the game's Steam Discussions pages and then some other users would probably post comments in agreement. Perhaps if enough people complain, then the devs might listen and add some code in an update to the game, so that a button can be pressed to skip the replay. I'm sure that the misaligned camera bug could also be fixed in a future Update.
IMHO, these flaws are not a game breaker for me and others who've followed these series of Axyos games which include "Hentai vs Virus: I am Waifu" and "Hentai vs Evil: Back 4 Waifus". It's fine that this game wasn't for you but it has enough of a following that the devs made this third game, so it's good for some people. Like the old saying goes, "You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time". Each person's likes/dislikes may differ from that of others. 😉

Just give this game a try and judge for yourself. If you like it then try the other previous games in the series "Hentai vs Virus: I am Waifu" and its sequel, "Hentai vs Evil: Back 4 Waifus".
