Man, why couldn't they remake Front Mission 3 instead?

They're going through them one by one, far as I know. FM2 remake was already announced and is releasing sometime this year. FM3 is probably either next year or the year after that.

I hope so, 3 to me remains the best in the entire franchise

They will. Most likely same studio as 2 which is being developed right now.
Of all FM games, PS1 Era really aged badly. 4 and 5 looks extremely modern and only need HD remaster.

FM5 sucks, it's really bad. It's like it tried to be Armored Core but ended up so generic it's painful. 3 remains the best in the entire franchise in terms of..w.ell, everything.

The installation file is 12.1 gb and the game is 7 gb? This is absolute bullcrap optimization.Uploaded Image

a handful of the dev's and the publishing room are sitting in an office discussing the games launch:

Game publisher "Should we utilize a proper installer and optimize file sizes like we did for the console version?"

They all stop, turn at look at the exec who said that
everyone bursts out laughing, one guy falls out of his chair slapping his knee

Game dev(after catching his breath and wiping the tears of laughter from his eyes): "ah good one carl, so anyways we are ready to turn the gamb.. er..uh "store" on after exactly 30 days just as you asked Baal."

Baal, the Canaanite god of fertility, harvest, and child sacrifice appears in a poof of smoke
Baal: "Wonderful and did you make sure to make everyone who is evil white and anyone who is neutral or good and African American?"

Game dev: "Duh! Also we made sure to glorify sex, drugs, and violence. I also personally made sure to insert six hundred and sixty six pride flags randomly around the world while making sure any fathers are abusive and or good for nothing!"

Baal: "Brilliant we cant have girls knowing what a quality man is like or shivers glorifying the nuclear family"

Baal poofs back to hell leaving a piece of paper grading the company with favorable ESG scores and an IGN/Gamespot/and reset era 8/10 score or higher redeemable ticket, its noticeably smoking and smells of brimstone sulfer

Devs have nothing to do with Fairlight, mate. EDIT: Damn, it's not even correct, either. The fully installed files are 18 GB while the installation files are 12 GB.

I've been downloading cracked games from 2010 (the year I got unlimited internet first) and I've downloaded A LOT, even from this site. This is the very first time I've seen the installation file bigger than the actual game.
A kind sir just pointed out that it was a misinformation about the game size. It is 18 GB after install.

What are you talking about? Every turned based Front Mission game has been awesome. They are highly praised and received high ratings.

I'm not that old
Well same, I want to nostalgia, Remake Not bad but....
Like that guy above, Pixel art is a man romance like olden days RPGs

That's very understandable. The pixel art of the original is just beautiful, and while these graphics aren't bad, they don't do it justice.

What's the path to save folder?

Searching, it says it's "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Forever Entertainment SA\FRONT MISSION 1st Remake", but when I delete the files inside to check, my progress is intact.

*Edit:

I remembered that this game in particular was downloaded from other place (I thought it was from here because it's where I download the majority of my games).

Anyways, if it helps to somebody, in my case, the path is:
"%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\56551820355323161\Storage\Shared\Files".

Greetings :)
