So far decent game, God awful start from story-character-gameplay, but once you get into the real game not bad.
Does seem like it will become a bit repetitive and grindy. Aliens at times seem extremely random in detecting you and reacting way too much at times and couple maybe minor bugs (Be ready too face hordes even on non horde time if unlucky, have a random alien teleport decide I don't like this door being locked and get stuck "attacking" it where you have to open it for them -> maybe a bug(s)?, a horde decided from seemingly nothing that then decides too not spawn after you and you actually have too hunt down else be stuck in hunted mode and unable to do main events, etc..) Some odd balances choices biggest gripe for me being-> For marines they get scared beyond too easily, which ya part in part of movies, but story wise and just gameplay seems odd how 4 marines+vehicle with heavy cannon+turret down 1 alien far away get 50/100 fear because ummm it was a alien attack... when if anything I would think that would reduce fear? (which vehicle also should, but since they want to force you to use a mechanical part on a door wield to rest often too remove fear where alien can teleport bug door any ways... )
For certain top 3 ALIENS games not that, that is a high bar.
very good, maybe a bit too short even. tutorial is a slog but once the game opens up its awesome. Wait for the patch tho the bugs are hell of annoying.
Welp beat it, I would give it a 6/10 (above average)
Was not for the God Awful Story and characters would have said 7.4/10, especially since the story segments will also have needless awful play required where you just do exactly what it wants you too do to the tee or it kills you and you reload too before the scene, meanwhile it will do, showm and say things that make no sense at all and make indie horrors often times seem more inteligent from characters-reasons-layouts...
Even prometheous which this takes too much from is better in all this... (least 1st one which I barely could handle as after hearing and seeing about #2 skipped it).
Note There are of course obviously also Bugs, some texture issues, etc... etc... but this 2023 fact it does not have tee posing, major crashes, and falling through ground etc... is massive and most is perfectly fine 1 map (forget name) crashed a few times and idk if that was map or bad loading as it was becoming more and more bugged (could not use sensor pings without it crashing and later on one my loads made my sargents stay calm ability permenant for rest of that deploy). Otherwise you get minor things like dead aliens stay standing up (seems most prominent if they died while trying to bite), mines some times fail too work (kind of like this as it feels like a fitting story thing of them failing at times), textures for many can have issues at certain things (nothing that bad), etc...
I have a suspicion that the folks in gaming industry are knowingly or unknowlingly making games fatter without optimizing and compressing files in order to avoid torrenting. I mean come on, who the hell has got the energy to download 7 different files in order to maybe run the game if it's properly put together by the seeder?

"Tenchu:Wrath of Heaven" is not on that list, "Aragami" is not on that list, "Mark of the Ninja" is not on that list. You missed the 3 best ninja games ever made.
Watch out people: there are some levels that are bugged. The Atmospheric Processor is one of them, and the second mission of Berkley's Docks is another. These won't break your game, but they can lead to a softlock.
I thought that will be a good game but this gameplay is garbage for me, one of my favourite chilhood game was alien shooter but they released now a very bad game. The graphics look good here and i think they can make the game into third person shooter. Whatever performance was not too good but its playable here, they also added fsr on this game.
Looks like you are looking into a different game genre than the one that abides to your interests. The game is clearly marked as a strategy so saying that the game is garbage because it is not the 3rd peson shooter you wanted to be, even if that's your opinion is a little unfair review. It's like you support that the apple isnt a good fruit because it aint an orange.
Also, you do not meet the min req for this game. With 20-15 fps you simply cannot play.
Having such a blast with this game. We feel the same stress we have watching the movies. Even at easy level it's hard due to various game mechanics like stress. But it make it more realistic. The Aliens lore is respected. Atmosphere is on point. Playing this game on story mode difficulty is still hard and challenging. There a Alien Fire Team Elite if you want first person shooter but this game even beat that.

Of course there are rolls, although they are not labled as such. You still have hit chances but you dont really notice them since the game is in real-time
I have seen a marine outright kill a drone with just a burst - and I have seen the same marine failing to hit a drone after having fired several times.
