Keep in mind this not the steam version (least pretty sure) to begin with which includes the other giant issue of not being able to save or delete saves (just auto and manual overwrite auto). --> Which also means you cant get patheton points aka the game's needlesly locked content unlocks. Don't think steam hotfix even for everyone with crashes either.
Well, this version is definitely a steam hack, since the files contain a "steam_api64.dll", used to fake the steam authentification. Concerning the rest, you're probably right, which is quite frustrating, but at least, I would like to try the game, even if not with the full content. I can't even get past the main menu for now!

But seeing all the countless patheon unlocks aka game locked things from maps - cosmetics-traits and not being able to unlock them sucks too much :( as again you beat a game and se all the points... you suppose to get and then not get ... since it can't auto save (which then I imagine deletes also said saves so you can't cheat the points + people even using in game cheats or surrendering at any point causes you too also not get points on that entire game which is just so laughable).
Can't even find save folder too manually delete saves as :/ all spots it suppose to be it is not, the documents one has all but saves which is odd.
Well any way, while I am also pretty sure people have requested game update, do keep in mind that is where you go to request updates not here.

I built a race of Jewish rats who used their mystical powers (negromancy) to raise the dead and build an Übermensch race to serve them. Very cool game. I give it 5/5 stars. Job well done!
Haha, Jewish rats. 😂 That's funny, but also pretty antisemitic at the same time. I've been following this game for a while now. I just hope it will run ok on my pc. Have you played any of the other Age of Wonder games, like say Planetfall? Or any other paradox games for that matter? 🤔

Age of Wonders tends to be cracked fast this was cracked I think day 1 even... though only torrent was uploaded on that day (even says posted date aka 2nd)
I posted a reply here before, saying that I finally fixed my issues by switching and removing some DLL files which helped me boot up the game, apparently that comment got deleted. Now to important stuff;
@Endeo is right, there are some really nasty bugs in there, issues with progressing turns or outright complete meltdown of the turn system if some events happen, such as capturing quests or cities. Even if those bugs are fixed in the official release, there is still the issue of higher difficulties forcing you to tear through resource sponges and horrible AI so I wouldn't exactly buy it outside of 30% discounts, unless you are REALLY into it.
That's my opinion about AoW4 after playing it for the past 4 weeks.
This link needs an update because in this version of game are present some game breaking bugs like "quest completition window not showing up".
@BombaHabibi101060 if you download from MegaUp.net you need to make sure you are downloading from megaup.net by looking at https line of browser. You will see a lot of ads and false download buttons and sites, before you get to correct one so you actually need some experience in downloading through sites like this.

Where do I find the save games? They don't seem to be in: AppData\Roaming\Paradox Interactive\Age of Wonders 4 When I delete the complete content of the folder the game can still be loaded.
The game runs smoothly with all the character animation and no lag however there is a weird bug that makes the terrain scrambled with colored boxes except mountains. I have already updated my AMD driver to the latest which is last month, turned off bloom and set the quality settings to low. No crash, stutter or lag, just the weird terrain bug. My brother that is using NVIDIA is not having the terrain bug but lagging.
Is there any way to close app in background? after closing the game i noticed a "AOW4.exe" is still working, taking 2gb of ram, tried to close it but then appears "acces denied"

Do I really have to explain what a false positive is? The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn’t! :)

This reupload is also now GoG version so keep that in mind. (least hoping it updated version assume so but idk gog)
