I'm not clear what motivates our hero because there isn't a story here. It doesn't matter, though, because as soon as I chose a stage and got in the game, I understood what had to be done. Our hero can jump and swing its sword. Despite having a shield, it serves just as a decorative item and cannot prevent damage. The sword is rather fussy about what it can strike. Objects like boxes or pots can’t be smashed, but enemies and wooden barrels are gone after a single strike. The game has a low level of difficulty. Death is not harsh, even if you can lose all three of your health cells quickly if you're not careful or fall over the edge.
