the game requires Direct3D or OpenGl but intel HD doesnt support OpenGl maybe you just need to download Direct3D then

I'm unable to start the game due to an error stating, "This version of %1 is not compatible with you're version of windows". I am running windows 32 bit, but the contained files aren't 64-bit, so that shouldn't be an issue. What is this %1 thing?

They are 64-bit. Look "Additional Notes: Uses Java 8+, 64-bit runtime included"

ah that slipped by me. There may not have been steam related 64 bit items, but i didnt notice that the included java was 64 bit. Curses I:<
