I also requested it 5 hours before you did, and someone else requested it an hour ago SO here is hoping that we will see it updated. It looks like an awesome game, the trailer seemed great but some reviews also make it sound bad but the graphics look awesome. I wonder if it will be moddable in any way that is what games like this need after the success from skyrim. I'm very tempted to buy this game because it looks so fun but the price is quite high for me ($45).
Not really? All of it's inspiration comes from the Elder Scrolls series, not Elden Ring. The only thing that MIGHT be inspired from the Souls series(Not specifically Elden Ring) is the parrying mechanic in combat and the overall darker tone of the story and atmosphere. Everything else comes from Elder Scrolls
What do you mean not really lol, the similarities are very clear. The themes, the dying world, the cryptic lore, creepy npcs, hidden areas, secret ways of completing quests, the fact you can easily get locked out of loads of quests. Suspicous acting merchants hiding in some random spot in the middle of nowhere. I could genuinely go on and on
Even the voice acting for certain npcs remind me of souls games. Other than the fact its an open world 1st person rpg it feels nothing like the elder scrolls games
You just described everything that the Elder Scrolls series has. Cryptic lore? ES has it. Creepy NPCs? ES has that in spades. Hidden areas? ES has it as does every single RPG ever made. Secret ways of completing quests? ES has it. Getting locked out of quests? ES has that too. Suspicious merchants? ES has it. Heck, other games have that too, Blasphemous comes to mind for example. You didn't describe a single thing that is unique to the Souls series other than the themes of a darker, more dreary world which I mentioned before. Just because the voice acting reminds you of souls it doesn't mean inspiration was taken from Souls. You either need to play more ES games(And I mean the ones before Oblivion) or less Souls games. Thy do you think every single person who has played this is calling this game a "Scrollslike"?
No, I really didn't, all of those things are very much staples of souls games and are nothing like elder scrolls, what are you actually talking about? And so what if what I described isn't unique to souls games? name one thing that's unique to an elder scrolls game?
And blasphemous? a game that came out after all the souls games? the things I just described define a souls game, all of those features when present together aren't just a coincidence. Clear influence. So what if those features are present individually in other games, that changes nothing
Either you're being disingenuous or just deluded, to say this game isn't inspired by souls is just ridiculous.
No they aren't. All those things you said are staples from every RPG ever made. What is staples of souls games is the combat, mainly the heavy emphasis on parrying and dodging, the high difficulty, loosing all your currency when you die, lore given to you via item descriptions(Which this game does not do by the way), poison swamps, status effects that instantly kill you, the Monnlight Greatsword, Patches(The character, not bud fix updates), item ganks, somber world, exposed feet, "church is le evil" trope, that one boss that is super easy, that one boss that is plain unfair, stamina management which this game does have. THESE are the staples of the souls series. Out of all of these, Tainted Grail only has the parrying, somber world and stamina management. You are LITERALLY the only person who doesn't see that this game draws WAY more from Elder Scrolls than it does from Souls
"And so what if what I described isn't unique to souls games?" Work with me here, how can you say" this game takes inspiration from Souls" when what you're describing isn't unique to a souls game? If other games have it, how do you know it's taking inspiration SPECIFICALLY from Souls and not from the many other games that also use it? What is unique to an ER game? Let's see...you start in a jail cell(while not unique to ES it's a tradition in that franchise), certain actions level up certain aspects of your character(For example jumping levels up your athletics, using spells levels up your spiritualism, etc etc), the skill trees are very ES coded, the crafting is exactly like it's done in Skyrim, I could go on but I won't because with stubborn people like you, there's no point
You named 3 things and none of them are unique to elder scrolls, nor do they define elder scrolls in any way 🤣 great argument bud. You even start in a prison cell in dark souls 1 hahahaha. Kingdom come deliverance and mount and blade both level up skills by using them, and the crafting is like literally any game that has crafting in it, so that’s the worst argument of the lot. Using your own logic I guess tainted grail can’t have possibly got inspiration from elder scrolls for any of these because any game has them!!
And look at you changing you argument now to them ‘taking way more inspiration from elder scrolls than souls’ I never argued that I said that the game DOES take inspiration from Elden ring / souls which you completely denied for some strange reason when it clearly does.
Don't waste your breath bro, Bowie is the mascot fag of this site. Some kind of pet Reddit Mod who got lost here. Getting blocked by this they/them is just proof that you're right.
And here come the idiots who have no arguments whatsoever so they always resort to pronouns. Man, for someone who always complains about it, you sure like to bring up pronouns a lot. It's almost like your complaints are baseless, pointless and should promptly be ignored since they come from someone with such little brain power that they make squirrels look smart by comparison. Also being blocked by someone is proof of nothing other than your own inability to create a coherent argument. I literally feel myself get dumber by arguing with people like you. If I can even call you a person to begin with
And I'll keep doing so because of how dumb you are. You are LITERALLY the only person comparing this to the Souls series and not Elder Scrolls. If during your day one person calls you an asshole then that person is an asshole. If EVERYONE calls you an asshole then maybe, just maybe, YOU are the asshole. Just take the L and go. Also I NEVER denied that is takes some inspiration from from Souls, every single comment I made I recognized that the parry mechanics and the dark and dreary world are from souls but that's the ONLY thing it takes form souls. Every other single thing you said is not unique to the souls series
Anyone here old enough to remember that EQ "train" strategy? Would love to see this here instead of having to face the classic solo boss mode. Add some fun into it and just watch while that "train" is dealing the boss for you.
Hell yeah, it's DLC expansion time! Fun fact, did you know that one of the newest weapons added in this DLC is a literal fish? Have fun smacking people around with a dead fish!
The issue is that there HAS been instances in the past of scene cracks containing malware. Even well-trusted scenes have been caught doing it. They kinda ruin it for the honest guys
Can you list a game of the SCENE that contains a virus? i have been pirated for almost 40 years, never seen such a case. Also please tell me the name of the most reliable group that does that? i have no hesitation to report them.
💯👍🤗 Couldnt agree more.I got no viruses at all here. But i got some on suspicious sites (torrents/fileshare mostly), but this was kinda my fault, totally avoidable. However this was at the beginning of my pirating career, hihihihihi🤣,and since i met IGG,no trouble at all...i am so so glad.
mate my AVG say too it was malware/virus but when you have use this site you know ppl would have find if there was a virus in thegame by now and the groups there make keys so we can play it is malware and it is not it go in the game code and make the game think that have buy the game and anti virus detected will alway belive it is one buy it is not. and sorry for my eng
Is this version Mono or IL2CPP? It's relevant regarding modding. If game is IL2CPP there are significantly less mods available that will work where Mono is the dominant version when it comes to community modding.
This is not where you request game files, Read the rules. There is literally a giant button that says "Game Requests" All game updates are to be asked there.
They will not see update requests on individual game posts, so don't post them there. Post them like a big boy, where they tell you to post them.
I'm liking the game. I'm playing on a laptop with i7-14700HX and RTX 4070. When I load the game in the city, It runs at 60FPS. BUT after some time, FPS slowly drops to 50...later to 40...and later goes to 30! WTF! 🤦🏻♂️😖 And game isn't EVEN using 90% of my RTX 4070! This is super annoying. It's not a hardware issue, because temperatures aren't reaching 90°C. This is making me want to play the game later....when they have fixed this performance issue. 😓
I'm talking about performance only, not bugged quests or general game glitches. Also I've completed The Long Defeat already with no bugs or glitches whatsoever
After having played this for a significant amount of time I can confidently say that magic is currently OP. Either go all Spell Power or Magic Regen and you'll be pretty much invincible
Yup, i use magic and i feel like the game is way to easy, but when using a sword and sheild the combat feels clunky, im in act 4, i really wanna try the summon build but for some reason my summoners are dumbasses and dont attack anything
Yeah you have to be REALLY close to the enemies for your summons to get aggro on them which is why I stopped using summons altogether, even though having them out helps with mana regen. Thunder Lash is my go to spell right now(Still in act 1)
Yeah I figured that out. Sadly the summons tend to get stuck behind rocks and trees very often, not to mention they don't keep up with you if you're running
I'm a sucker for Arthurian lore and this is definitely scratching that itch. Combat is a tad janky but nothing one can't get used to. OST is suberb so far, really reminds me of AC Valhalla
As someone stated below, this feels like a more disciplined/stable option to the perpetually frustrating Skyrim jankyness. Its actually got some impressive almost Giger-esque art design in some places.
Its not some 120 gig Unreal 5 monster. If your trying to push your 4000 dollar GFX card. Its playable, and nice looking, within a decent footprint
Right click on exe file, then "run as administrator", bro. Maybe your hard drive (where the game is installed) does not provide enough permissions to execute
Got the same error, fixed it by uninstalling, forcing re-check in torrent, and re-installing. this might be some minor corruption or missing file? either way, file re-check and re-install fixes this
Best RPG of 2025 for me, it manages to capture the essence of Bethesda games, but almost bug free and the character animation is better than Fallout 4, how is it possible that a small studio managed to do this? I don't know, but no RPG has given me that feeling of adventure and discovery since Skyrim (original 2011).
Just to confirm, is this version of the still using IL2CPP? The 1.07 patch included a mod support update where steam users could select a "beta" that switches from IL2CPP to Mono. Since it's easier to mod for Mono, I'm guessing more mods will be created that don't support using IL2CPP.
If it's possible to include the Mono version of the game as a separate download, that would be amazing!
It's a mix of both. The combat does have souls elements, mainly with the parrying and the stamina management. Everything else is very Skyrim coded and yet does those things way better than Skyrim does
This game is trash once you leave the dungeon. It's like Tears of the Kingdoms's retarded little brother. The intro theme seems like a prayer to Islam. It's beyond daft.
I recognized two words from the intro theme: Niffelheim and Muspelheim. In case you don't know, those are "realms" in nordic mythology, the land of ice and the land of fire respectively. EDIT: Ok, it seems EVERY word being chanted is a norse word. They are as follows: Ginnungagap - A Primordial and magical void Niflheim - The realm of ice Muspelheim - The realm of fire Ild - Fire Is - Ice Dråber falder - Drops fall Ymir - The first creature and ancestor to all Jotun who emerged from the collision of Niflheim and Muspelheim, and from whose body the world was created Jotun - A supernatural race who are the descendants of Ymir, and who are often depicted as hostile or in conflict with the gods (Aser/Aesir) Skaber Aser - This line can mean either "creates Aesir" or "Aesir create". For those curious the song is called Ymir by Danheim
I suppose you could enjoy this game looking for dungeons. But I don't know. Game seems to cheat, also known as AI. I spent more time just adjusting the settings. I can overlook the glitches, like walking through cabinets, and the screen blacking out when you reload. That's how much I was willing to play it to begin with. The game reminds me of ZombiU but with swords, but nowhere near as good. I recommend that if you never beat that one. Permadeath gold.
Yeah. Even Britain is Hebrew for man of the covenant. They screwed themselves. Joe Biden seems compos mentis in comparison to the UK state. It would have been better off if they just allowed the Turks to reign.
Can someone explain step by step how to change language? I tried to use this steam emu, changed from english to polish, but nothing has changed. Can't find any tutorials how to do it.
For a cracked game, the default language settings are usually changed within a text file. Not all cracked games have their language settings in the same, exact named file, folder or subfolder. You would need to go to the installed game's folder and try to find a text file that is called either "steam_api.ini", "steam_emu.ini", "settings.txt", "settings.ini", "language.txt", "force_language.txt" or any file with a file extension of ".ini" or "txt". Sometimes, the name of the Scene or P2P group that cracked the game is used to prefix the name of the text file that has the language settings like "RUNE.txt", "TENOKE.txt", "FLT.txt", "RUNE.ini", "TENOKE.ini", "FLT.ini" ... etc.
Search in any subfolders, if necessary (The text file might not be in the installed folder's root directory) and then open it with Notepad. In the text file, do a search for the key "language". If it is found, set the key's value to a language that is supported by the game (eg. - language = english, language = tchinese, language = schinese, ... etc. Check the game's retail page for supported languages to make sure that the language that you set is actually supported by the game), save the change and then try running the game again.
1.0 yes pls 30+-gigs yes pls tired of TES/KCD yes pls slavjank yes pls tired of soulslike/lite yes pls. give it a try its great fun, great art style, combat, world, items etc.
Its unplayable because all the texts of the in-game menus are replaced by generic texts or empty. For example if you want to choose which class you want to play then all buttons are empty and even leaving the game is a challenge because all buttons that you can see have the text "CONTINUE" written on them.
use a download manager like IDM or jdownloader 2. you can limit how much of your internet it uses, and be able to stream a movie or whatever. -it also helps keep from having bad/corrupted files when using a download manager.
Though keep in mind that Jdownloader 2 is not going to work with every host since many hosts are taking active steps to outright block download managers
Ive yet found a host that blocked IDM, i use Jdownloader2 for a different site. (for "copy/paste") reasons. as that's not supported here. either way, megaup still works fine, and any other link ive used. (not links from this site so i wont mention them). point was, shit internet i delt with and a download manager (outside of bypassing their internal limits) did a dam good job of keeping the download stable. not gonna be a good day if download mangers stop working.
How are you using Jdownloader 2 with Megaup? Megaup is one of the sites that actively blocks download managers(Or, rather, uses Cloudflare which in turn is what blocks managers) unless you're using some modified version of it? Cause with the official version, Megaup does not work, at least not for me
double correction no matter what itll stop it at around 80%. use idm, fdm, xdm, or an alternative (IDM is the only paid option i mentioned) (at full tilt)-it (jdownloader) was running at full tilt until 80% lol
im not using jdownloader for megaup. (i use IDM) for IGG. jdownloader 2 is for another site for specific games with large mod packs etc. megaup.net works pretty well with idm.. never tried with jdownloader. no, using stock jdownloader with removed bloat/turned off ad's and paid IDM.
when trying with jdownloader it forces my browser. but idm worked fine. (cracked copy should work too).
"thanks for answering me" bc i didn use google? i gave you something you (should) use for future downloads. considering i had shit internet for 2/3 years. 20/30mbs down, 3mbs up and ping was like 500+ unloaded, i used every trick i could to make sure shit didnt fuck up, especially now with larger parts.
although, now i have fiber. the full weight of that is around 960/8=120 using a download manager. (and if something happens, i can pause/resume it without restarting the download). raw doggin direct downloads for this long lmao, just forget i said anything and continue to worry about it i guess.
You are lying bud, i played it a couple of months ago, its impossible unless you cheese and use the wolf summon item, every enemy tanks hits like they're an angel or something
If you're completely ass at making builds, sure. Wolf summon item? Buddy, I beat the game on the hardest difficulty using a sword and an axe, every enemy, even bosses, went down in three, max four charged attacks. Now I'm doing a build based around summons and it's JUST as easy, if not more since your summons are there to distract and aggro while you pummel with spells. Don't say the game is hard when it's clearly you who doesn't know how to play it and have to resort to cheesing tactics. And let me just say, both my older build(Sword and axe) and my current summon build are NOT OP builds whatsoever, heck they might actually be unoptimized in some areas
What kind of person brags about their skills on a pirated game site? Let's see if you brag about working to buy games. You're a loser. Disrespecting people when they've only given their opinion. Let's go out and touch the grass and stop being degenerates who only have courage behind a screen.
If you suck, you suck. Just admit that you suck instead of blaming the game for flaws that are very obviously yours. You realize that just having a strong weapon isn't enough right? You need the right stats to complement your weapon choice and the right abilities, AKA you need a BUILD. A competent build. And if you can't make one, that is YOUR fault, not the game's fault
"haha skills issue bud" you're clearly getting defensive over this game mate even though its obviously meant to be a souls like. even easy mode isnt easy, its like playing elden ring. you have to do everything in an exact way or you cheese through everything. i dont have a problem with being bad at the game, im just saying if the game wants to be so difficult, no wonder more people dont play it
Except it's not? The only thing this takes from Souls is the atmosphere, everything else from combat to storytelling to characters is taken directly from Elder Scrolls. This is not Souls combat, like it's not even in the same BALLPARK as souls combat, same goes for the difficulty. Like playing Elden Ring? Oh, so you've never actually played Elden Ring or a souls game in your life then. Again, if you suck and can't learn the game's mechanics that is YOUR flaw, not the game's flaw. "You have to do everything in an exact way or cheese" Or, you know, learn how to make a build so you don't HAVE to cheese anything. Don't blame the game for your obvious lack of skills. And the reason more people aren't playing it is because of it's performance issues, it being an indie game and people just not knowing about it. If this was a souls like, the souls community would be all over it but they aren't because it's NOT souls like at all. I don't get why people get so defensive over sucking at a videogame, there's nothing wrong with being bad but the second you pull a DSP, you DESERVE to be mocked relentlessly until the end of time
You're correct: this game doesn't resemble Souls combat, in that Souls combat is fair. Unless the latest updates completely rebalanced the entire game on me, this is substantially clunkier and just as punishing, only becoming more manageable for nonmagic builds after you completely optimize them to the point of rendering the actual combat mechanics irrelevant after a few hours of grind (or, you know, play on the easiest difficulty). Also if you're builds MIGHT be unoptimized, that means you're already trying to make them as OP as you can. Getting irrational just because the average person isn't as tryhard as you is unreasonable.
It's clunky I'll give you that much, it has a certain...how do I put this...it has a certain jank to it that you either have to get used to or work around. I'm 100% NOT trying to make my builds OP. For my first build(sword and axe) I simply picked skills that benefited that configuration of weapons, mainly focusing on stamina and charge attacks since those do the most damage. Also a couple of kills that benefic melee damage in general which is something any person would do. At least any person with a brain. For my current build, I pick skills that benefit my summons such as giving them more HP and more damage depending on my own stats. When I say the are unoptimized I mean I'm not using the best, most OP gear nor am I grinding for levels or anything of the sort. I think I was barely level 25 when I finished the game the first time and I didn't even do every side quest there is to do(actually missed out on a possible ending because of that). Tryhard? So playing the game normally with no grinding, no best ultimate gear, simply picking skills as I go along is try hard? No no no no no. First of all I never got irrational. Second of all the entire argument was "Oh this game is too hard" and I argued that it's not IF you know what you're doing and use the mechanics the game offers you. You don't need an OP build to have an easy time on the hardest difficulty, the game is not hard at all. If this was Souls levels of hard, I would not be playing it without cheats because I SUCK at those kinds of games. But for this? No cheating and no OP builds needed. I'm as average a gamer as a gamer gets
@ghhi Seems this thread has gotten so long that I can't reply to you directly anymore so hopefully you get this notification: That's not that I'm saying AT ALL. What I'm looking down on is people saying you have to literally cheat or cheese to be successful and that's the furthest thing from the truth. How many times do I have to spell out that my builds WERE NOT COMPLETE OR OPTIMIZED and yet I still succeeded on the hardest difficulty? Why? Because I understood the game's mechanics, punishing and janky as they may be, and used them to my advantage. Your comparison is also idiotic, at best. Ac complete build isn't the same as max level on a Souls game because a complete build doesn't completely rob you of any and all challenge, the challenge is still there. Yes it took me a while to get a build going but that's the nature of every RPG. What, you expect to be OP right from the start, where's the fun in that? The game is not hard AT ALL if you know what you're doing and don't put points in random stats. You don't NEED to cheese, you don't NEED to be OP, you don't NEED max level gear to breeze through the game even on survival difficulty. THAT was my argument from the get go, THAT has always been my argument, THAT has always been my point. I'm not looking down on anyone struggling, I'm looking down on people who resort to DSP level "arguments" to justify their own lack of skill, pure and simple
As someone who played the game on the hardest difficulty (the 'the game deletes your save if you die' one): Yes. You die in a few hits when starting out, enemies take dozens of hits, and lots of enemies have janky animations. You saying 'the game gets easier after you complete your build' is like saying 'Dark Souls gets easier if you're max level' or 'Skyrim enemies are so spongy if you optimize leveling.' Everyone knows that, the point is that you took hours to get there and are now looking down on everyone struggling to wrestle with the games clunky combat in the meantime.
So, after around 25 hours I have finished my first playthrough of this game. While performance still leaves something to be desired, everything else is just pure awesomeness. The story ,the characters, the combat, the locations, the world building, everything is just beautiful and a perfect adaptation of not only Arthurian lore with a darker tone but also of the board game it's based on. 18/20, HUGE recommendation
I cant run the game (stuck in black screen after launching it) and while unzipping it, 2 files (some streamingassets files called "ag_-15539 ..." cant be transfered.
Try using a program like 7-zip to extract. I was running into the same issue trying to extract the files until I realised I didn't have 7-Zip setup as my default app and it was just using the default windows program.
For each "Hotfix update" do i just need to Re-Download the game and extract all the files to the original folder and overwrite? will i lose my save progress?
You don't need to overwrite/replace to the old game folder, you just need to extract it somewhere (it has nothing to do with the old game folder, so you can delete the old folder if you want).
This applies to all games here, not just this one. Your save continues, because the saves are usually located somewhere on the C:\ drive (most developers specify that)
Yes. It's not a very bid download anyway so just download the new version and copy the files to the install folder of the version you already have, replace the files when asked and it will work. As long as you download it from here everytime, your save will be fine
Actually you don't need to copy/replace to the old game folder, you just need to extract it somewhere (it has nothing to do with the old game folder, so you can delete the old folder if you want).
The saves will still be there, because the saves are usually saved somewhere on the C:\ drive (most developers specify that)
You should ask the developer bro. This is the latest version (at the time of this comment), you should look back at the title of the post above, v2025.06.02 = updated today
tbf plenty of people are waiting for "skyrim 2" for a long time. Oblivion remaster kind of scratches the itch but it's also not quite the same game. So it makes sense there'd be some devs trying to capitalize on people's nostalgia. How good the bootleg is, is a question I could not answer nor do I care to find out. Unless this game pops off.
two times now my gog game has said new game and not load game and when I go to where the saves should be even after saving and loading they aren't there so I can't even back the saves up
It looks like an awesome game, the trailer seemed great but some reviews also make it sound bad but the graphics look awesome. I wonder if it will be moddable in any way that is what games like this need after the success from skyrim.
I'm very tempted to buy this game because it looks so fun but the price is quite high for me ($45).
Even the voice acting for certain npcs remind me of souls games. Other than the fact its an open world 1st person rpg it feels nothing like the elder scrolls games

Or do we have to create an extra post for this in the request game section first?
It's like Tears of the Kingdoms's retarded little brother.
The intro theme seems like a prayer to Islam.
It's beyond daft.
and i honestly thought this was some homage joke game that was going to be good based off the intro alone
EDIT: Ok, it seems EVERY word being chanted is a norse word. They are as follows:
Ginnungagap - A Primordial and magical void
Niflheim - The realm of ice
Muspelheim - The realm of fire
Ild - Fire

Dråber falder - Drops fall
Ymir - The first creature and ancestor to all Jotun who emerged from the collision of Niflheim and Muspelheim, and from whose body the world was created
Jotun - A supernatural race who are the descendants of Ymir, and who are often depicted as hostile or in conflict with the gods (Aser/Aesir)
Skaber Aser - This line can mean either "creates Aesir" or "Aesir create".
For those curious the song is called Ymir by Danheim
I just barely got out of the Dungeon last time I played it.
The Dungeon levels where fun though.
If it tried to blame england on Islam,
that would be a misdirection.
Its actually been the other way around.

I don't want to redownload because my wi-fi is shit here.
(at full tilt)-it (jdownloader) was running at full tilt until 80% lol
when trying with jdownloader it forces my browser. but idm worked fine. (cracked copy should work too).
4 days ago i'm just ballin' it with normal download (without any third party or etc).
And the version is stable, thanks for answering the one that i want to know.
although, now i have fiber. the full weight of that is around 960/8=120 using a download manager. (and if something happens, i can pause/resume it without restarting the download). raw doggin direct downloads for this long lmao, just forget i said anything and continue to worry about it i guess.
Let's see if you brag about working to buy games. You're a loser.
Disrespecting people when they've only given their opinion. Let's go out and touch the grass and stop being degenerates who only have courage behind a screen.
I don't get why people get so defensive over sucking at a videogame, there's nothing wrong with being bad but the second you pull a DSP, you DESERVE to be mocked relentlessly until the end of time
I'm 100% NOT trying to make my builds OP.
Any clues?
BTW, this release still uses the RUNE crack, not sure why it doesn't work for you, I tried it on my PC, it works pretty well.
This applies to all games here, not just this one. Your save continues, because the saves are usually located somewhere on the C:\ drive (most developers specify that)
Dont wanna lose out on my save file
mom: we have skyrim at home
....
skyrim at home : "not avowed lmao"
Actually you don't need to copy/replace to the old game folder, you just need to extract it somewhere (it has nothing to do with the old game folder, so you can delete the old folder if you want).
The saves will still be there, because the saves are usually saved somewhere on the C:\ drive (most developers specify that)

But also, from the same developers of "Tainted Grail: Conquest".
This is promising.
