Try to re install it but before you re install the game turn off your "real time protection" in your "window security" setting. Because the "steam crack" will look as if it was a virus. So turn off that then re install the game
i'm downloaded the game not from here tho and its repacked by Elamigos because the repack size is smaller. i try installing and reinstalling like you said but isn't working, still had "fatal error" message on it. maybe because i'm using a potato laptop or maybe i should download and try the non-repack version from this site?

i hate this game because it lacks everything good that made this franchise something memorable, people still remember Lenneth as a unique game, to a lesser extent, the same can be said about Silmeria and Covenant.

I started a replay of the original on emulator (for ps1) a couple months ago, i gave up a couple hours in when i realized how ridiculous the perfect ending was to get. I dont know how my younger self was able to do that when it was new.

see no most old games are better then new games valkyrie profile 1 mechanics are still rare to this day and i played the game after 10 years fully beat it and postgame my friends love it too lol your memory isn't the problem you just got soft it's not easy and you have to work for progress most old games are not easy and most newgen gamers like to be handheld a map telling you where to go notifications teleport to areas etc older games don't do that you do it yourself hence harder
valkyrie profile has one amazing set of mechanics comboes lovely characters and it's a SHORT game it's 20 hours even on hard mode if i was doing it on any other difficulty it would take me like 10 lol because hard mode has really fun challenging dungeons and that's your problem it is too hard for you, you don't like challenges it doesn't mentally stimulate you, just get frustrated it's sad

lol dude the true end is not hard to do at all guides for it too, literally send 1 guy each chapter with perfect specs you can use bonus exp to level them to 5ish higher levels later need to find brahms finish lezard tower and dats really it near end of game do the lily meadows gg lol oh and make sure to take off your ring during each end phase

But Last of Us worked pretty well apart from a few sound related issues that I sorted out. I'm still mostly enjoying Wild Hearts, really fun game.
