I'm on 1.11.4, I went to open a GRE chest, and the game crashed. After I opened the game again, I can hear the main menu music, the cursor stays stuck in the top left, and I there's only a black screen. I tried to do some things that I read around that could help, disabled fullscreen optimizations, updated GPU drivers, nothing seems to help, I never had blackscreen issues before, I played enough to nearly have all skills unlocked, now with the latest update the game seems bricked, I thought the updates made the game more stable, not less
You have corrupted save files, try baking them up (...\ph\work\bin\x64\SteamData\out) then delete and make a new game then overwrite the newly created files in the "save" folder with the old one, I think the file in "profiles" is the corrupted one so keep that backed up and DON'T copy it over the fresh one, I could be wrong though as it has been a while since this happened to me, mainly cuz I don't have time to play anymore, but there is a solution you don't have to hard reset.
Hey i was downloading the update for dying light 2 and i need to download the update by update (v1.9.0 to v.1.9.1 and goes on) but until since i try to update v1.9.4 it wouldn't let me open the PATCh.exe, seemed like something was downloading in the background but still nothing happen. i was able to open PATCH.exe for v.1.11.0 but can't update it to v.11.0 becuase i need to update it step by step.
if you're have the original version which is the 1.9.0 ver, you would have to first download the 1.9.0 hotfix, then continued to the 1.9.2 and so on until you've reached the latest version (v1.11.1)

can confirm, language packs here are actually out of date and multiplayer will not work anymore if you use them. i got a up to date language pack from a friend who owns the game and coop still works. so if you plan to use the multiplayer dont get the language packs until they are updated.
language files seem out of date, after adding it says "game has modified data" and you are unable to play coop. i even tried with another repack where coop works fine but has only eng/rus, after adding another language from here coop doesnt work anymore

halfway through the update it says its not for the current game version . how do i fix this ? . i could update until 1.93 . 1.94 just doesn't want to work

you might need more than 65 . i was just guessing that its 60 . if you get the error again just go to my computer . right click and refresh . you'll see if your hard drive is full by that time or not

Check your hard drive space when it says that . go into my computer . right click and click on refresh . the temp files might be filling up your hard drive anyway . 60gb is just my guess . it could need more

No matter what method you use, you can’t convert Chinese, and there are white squares. Whether you get the language pack first or use it after the version is updated, the problem is the same. The latest 1.9.3 upgrade file found elsewhere still cannot be replaced.

I FIGURED IT OUT. When installing the game, uncheck "copy crack" undeneath music and then copy paste the crack manually from the disc drive after you extracted and mounted it :)
I don't see a difference between the one i downloaded last year and this one just more languages added no new content. I don't see a good reason to wipeout my old game and install this one maybe if new content added but languages i'm not going to use it. Can anyone tell me what the difference is?

a better answer is that the previous crack was from empress and wasn't a repack (direct game files without compression) and the new crack not only is repacked by someone else (compressed to reduce total size to download) but also finally the game got rid of denuvo trash
