It's a bit heartbreaking to be honest. The dev clearly had an above average imagination and has spent many hours on this. Unfortunately, and it pains me to say this, but the end result looks like barfing after eating a colourful pizza, especially considering the background colours. That's extra sad, since the core concept and gameplay seem decent.
So, although I don't care for graphics in general, in this case, my eyes left the scene in protest.
Oh, I wasn't trying to be hyperbolic or disrespectful towards the dev. I meant what I said literally. It shows a bit in the screenshots, but specially during attacks or animations. You see beautiful colours, but they mesh together and with the background in a weird way and it ends up looking more like a Jackson Pollock painting.
I get ya no worries my thoughts exactly hehe , a thing that came to my mind when I saw this was maybe the dev is someone talented who decided to make a game and add his little kid's drawings as the style of the game , a possibility u never know! :p
How is it possible to think this was an adults honest attempt at the best graphics they could make and not just a stylistic choice? You gotta be retarded to not understand the art style here.
