This is missing the last update with the actual level DLC. The last update on here is for 1.0.0.27926, and the only DLC you're getting is the different character packs. The actual last update is 1.0.0.28133, so this one is definitely in need of the latest update that contains the actual level DLCs.
When you have the game downloaded download all the updates (In order) and then install them from the file you downloaded you have to install it in the game directory it should automaticly download there but better check where you are installing it. In the update files there will also be cracks you need only the fourth one to run the game so don't bother with pasting the cracks from the other updates. Hope it helped :)
I installed all the updates from lowest to highest version and now the game doesn't load. There's just a black screen and the PC freezes, I need to restart it manually each time I try to load the game. I installed the first update (v1.0.0.20041) and it worked perfectly, then I installed the rest of the updates (v1.0.0.24471, v1.0.0.26715, then v1.0.0.27926) and it showed the black screen. When I try to reinstall the updates it says "Problem renaming file", "Got administrator rights but something failed anyway" or both. (I only tested the game with the first update, which worked, the problem is with the rest of the updates which I didn't test.) I need help, I could send screenshots of it or screenshare on Discord if you have it.

You have to find the file that says crack and it contains like steam api and stuff,once you find it copy all the files inside the crack files and paste it to your game folder and it should start.Hope this helps

i have the same problem but after i did something for the game i managed to get rid of that problem...what i did is just download this http://www79.zippyshare.com/v/HcQO0qfs/file.html and extract the rar file wherever you want then open the game folder delete or take out this file "3DMGAME.ini" "steam_api.dll" "steam_api64.dll" after that open the crack you just downloaded COPY EVERYTHING inside that CODEX FILE to the game file.

when i get the 'true avenger', the game crashes and quits and doesnt save. i checked on the internet for a fix but seems as if nobody has ever experienced that before.
this is exactly what is happening to me. I get 150,000 studs and no matter where i am at in game, it crashes to desktop without save. The game runs fine with highest settings and no lag or drops ever, but as soon as the achievement is completed. CTD! im here hoping to find an update or mod that will correct this issue...also, ive never installed the game, nor is there a setup.exe. i extracted the files to a (new) Lego Avengers folder and the only thing that runs the game is the LEGOMARVELAvengers_DX11. I dont know if this is the problem. keep us updated if you find a fix.
i believe there might be an issue with the game trying to contact steam to update the achievement status. i just tried disconnecting from the internet and running the game, to no avail. it produced the same crash to desktop as soon as i hit 150k studs, right before you use the Hulk to pull off the panel to destroy the electric fence. if i play and intentionally miss as many studs as possible i can go further..dying only takes 1k away, so if i want to continue play, i have to run off a cliff a boatload of times to decrease my stud count.
I installed the 20041 update and the game ran fine, now my problem is that when ive installed the 24471 and entered the game, just before i reach the main menu there is a notification saying "you must install the LEGO marvel avengers update to be able to access addon content"..and the dlc doesnt show up when i go ingame..please help!! :(
Delete the steam exe file (Not permanently. Just get it to recycle bin). Steam recognizes pirated games sometimes so all you gotta do is somehow disable steam.
I installed the game onto a usb and it runs fine. But when I open the file on another computer there is no sound and I can't seem to find the problem , any fixes?
