This is very similar to Harvest Town for Android. That's a good alternative.

Reipatcher works on this game, also it has an english setting in settings, but that doesn't change anything

That's because there was a community quasi-fan, English tranlastion which actually used machine translation for the most part early on and the dev supposedly tried to incorporate it into the game but then apparently abandoned it for now. The dev just left the "Settings" option to change the language in the game's menu but like you said, it doesn't do anything.
