Almost impossible to be military active when starting with only 1 province. Dying of heroes is really frustrating even on slowest settings. And when my army had become mercenaries, as soon as my leading hero died, I decided to quit... Total War or Endless series are more fun.
kept seeing ads on it in YouTube, was planning to get it even before that but damn they kept shoving it on my face, let us see if it lives up the hype they were trying to make.
the UI and general stuff are a lot better but yeah combat sucks, enemy keeps flanking my troops despite attacking them head on but when i actually flank or attack enemies from behind nothing happens, not to mention peasants are the best troops since my light spearmen somehow lost to a peasant squad despite fighting on even odds.
