To those who still have errors while launching the game, try disabling your virus protection and firewall and dont forget to copy what is in the "prophet" file. God Bless you guys
downloaded how to survive storm warning edition. install and game Run-ed JUST FINE as admin just that the save progession is not working. scenario 1. i reached a check point. saved and returned to menu. and check save progression is FINE. scenario 2. after checking is 6% and lvl 2. i exit game to windows. run game as admin again but the progression is now 0% and lvl 1. please advise. thanks
I got that. But I have a problem now. The game does not save for me. when I exit and re-enter the game. I tested a thing where if I saved on-spot, and returned to main menu, the game save to what character I played shows what % progress. However, if I exit, all progresses are gone.
if you made it to a save checkpoint, then next time just start the game the same way you started it last time...select the same game mode and the same character (not 100% sure same character is required, but it worked for me) then when you hit start you get the option to continue or start a new game...choose continue. the actual save data is stored in C:\ProgramData\Steam\username\250400\storage
This is not a cracked copy, this is just a steam download of the game WITHOUT crack. So all ya'll people out there having problems getting it started, that's why. Installing this onto your PC and running it will only take you to the steam store page. We have to find the crack for this game elsewhere.
